Vengeance is mine! And today I’m introducing you to May’s Fragrance of the Month which is none other than Juliette has a gun – Lady Vengeance.
The month of May is almost over, and usually, I would recommend a fragrance of the month at the beginning of the month. However, the month of May was filled with a lot of ups and downs and quite a few trials and tribulations (as my mother would say), which is why it’s this late. Better late than never right?
This month is all about Lady Vengeance by Juliette has a gun. I remember the first time I heard the name of the perfume brand, I couldn’t help but chuckle. After all, who comes up with a name such as “Juliette has a gun?”. Someone with quite an imagination I would think.
I first got a sample of a Juliette has a gun perfume in my Sephora Play Box. It was actually named “Juliette has a gun – not a perfume”, and while it was not this particular scent, I was genuinely intrigued. After a quick search on all the other perfumes in the line, the decision to purchase Lady Vengeance was made. The black bottle and the name spoke volumes to me.
Lady Vengeance is a mixture of light and dark, although it’s more lady than darkness. It’s a marvelous blend of rose with patchouli and vanilla.
Juliette has a gun Lady Vengeance is currently only available for purchase online, and to say I was hesitant about buying a fragrance without first smelling it, is a bit of an understatement. However, Lady Vengeance did not disappoint at all. Lady Vengeance is a mixture of light and dark, although it’s more lady than darkness. It’s a marvelous blend of rose with patchouli and vanilla, the essence of sophistication and feminity with a bit of edginess.
When I recommend a fragrance of the month, one of the reasons for recommending is not just the smell, but the staying power. These perfumes generally cost over $100, and you want something that will stay with you throughout the day. Lady Vengeance certainly delivers in that department.
As with all perfume purchases, the scent depends on your body chemistry, and while I’m all about florals, this one is a must-have, especially for date nights. My husband isn’t big on fragrances, but he LOVES this one.
