Berry Banana Dog Bone Pops ~ Homemade Dog Treat

These Berry Banana Dog Bone Pops are the perfect homemade dog treat! They’re made with just four ingredients and they’re so easy to make. And I can guarantee that your dogs will love them.

I don’t think that anyone loves their dogs as much as I do. As a matter of fact, I would often joke that when I travel I sometimes miss my dogs more than I do my kids. It’s no joke however that dogs are man’s best friend. Not only are they loyal, but my dogs in particular are also very protective of me and my family. They are the perfect guardian dogs. That’s why I aways try and give them the best of everything. Just as I do with my family, because after all, they are family – of the four-legged variety.

Homemade dog treats are the perfect way to show your furry companion how much you love them! Besides being a responsible pet owner of course. Not only do homemade treats provide all the essential and natural nutrition that a dog needs, but they can also be tailored to meet your pup’s individual dietary needs. Plus, baking your own dog treats is a fun activity that you and your pup can enjoy together! This berry banana dog bone pops recipe is a great way to give your canine friend something special while also providing them with essential vitamins and minerals.

Berry Banana Dog Bone Pops – A Healthy Homemade Dog Treat

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total Time: overnight

Serves: makes 8

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup of kefir
  • 2 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 8 small dog bones

Popsicle sticks to hold up dog bones.

Instructions:

  1. Blend ingredients in a blender and pour into silicone popsicle molds. I find that using silicone helps get the pops out easier.
  1. Pour to about ¾ and then insert the dog bone. You want to get the bones to balance in the mixture. I used popsicle sticks to hold up the dog bones.
  1. Freeze overnight and then feed to your pet.
  1. These are rich, I would suggest that you allow your pet to eat these over a couple of sittings.
