Mommy and I were recently given the chance to review an amazing product. I love playing with electronic and interactive products and this combined both of them together making for all day fun. There is nothing better than learning and having fun along the way. Babies have been getting more into electronics and Creative Baby is there to help us with fun and engaging activities. Let me introduce you to the i-Mat My Animal World from Creative Baby.
The Creative Baby i-Mat is totally interactive and lots of fun for your little ones. I had a blast trying it out and learning along the way. The mat itself is fairly large measuring 47.25″ x 47.25″ x 0.4″. There is enough space on there for two to play fairly well.
$79.99 – Recommended age: 18m+
The i-Mat’s secret is the 2 GB memory of the Voice Pen. Sold as a set, the foamy pad and pen together retail for $79.99. For a limited time, Creative Baby offers free shipping for all pre-orders. Two more themed adventures — i-Mat My Alphabet and i-Mat Under The Sea — are planned for Fall 2013. As new pads are introduced, parents can connect the Voice Pen to any computer with internet access (with the included USB cable), download the new sound file from Creative Baby’s website to the i-Mat Voice Pen. Then, explore new i-Mat adventures! New pads will be priced from $24.99 to $29.99.
The i-Mat’s is very easy to use and as you can see can all be done from the mat itself by touching the i-Mat’s pen to whatever you want. There’s on/off along with volume control which parents will be happy is included. I have been playing for hours on end because its so much fun so mommy is happy that the volume button was included. I like it as loud as it can be but mommy prefers it turned down. There is also a language selection although for now there’s only English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. There are also two different games modes included which can be used based on the age of your little one.
I having been using my Creative Baby i-Mat to learn the different animals and the sounds they make. There are four different parts of the world and I get to learn what animals live in each of that part of the world. There is the desert, animals you can find on the farm, animals in the water and animals in the forest. One of the game asks me to find the animal that says certain sounds or I can find the animal they ask me to find. Mommy did a little video where you can see it for yourself. The illustrations are beautifully done and the colors are so vivid. Mommy’s photos don’t do them justice at all.
If you’re looking for something for your little one to enhance their play and learning then the Creative Baby i-Mat is the way to go. Another great thing about the Creative Baby i-Mat is that it can totally be used without the pen for those parents who would prefer to teach that way but the pen just enhances it. It is perfect for even your newborn baby since the mat itself is phthalate-, lead- and heavy metal-free, an no electronics mean wiping the mat clean is worry free.
As promised here is that video that mommy did. I have learned so much since using the Creative Baby i-Mat and I know that your little one will too.
