For the past few years, I’ve delved into the world of niche fragrances and want to share my top niche fragrances for women with you. If you have yet to pick up a bottle or two of a niche fragrance, my question to you is: “What are you waiting for?”

What Are Niche Fragrances?

For those unfamiliar with niche fragrances and wondering, “What exactly are niche fragrances?” let me explain it to you. Niche fragrances are perfumes and colognes made exclusively by dedicated perfume houses. It’s all they do, and they are different from designer fragrances or fragrances made by celebrities. For example, Gucci fragrances are designer fragrances, while fragrances made by Le Labo are considered niche fragrances.

Niche fragrances are also a bit pricier than designer fragrances. However, you can find a few that are reasonably priced. You will also find that their sillage generally lasts an incredibly long time, sometimes a few days on your clothing or even more than 24 hours on your skin. I recently had the privilege of using one that lasted over a week on my pillow. Luckily, it smelled amazing, so I went to bed with the scent in my nostrils and slept beautifully.

So what niche fragrances are my top fragrances for women? In this post, I can only share with you the ones I own. While I’ve had the privilege of smelling and testing a few others and can tell you that they smell amazing, I can’t, with all honesty, tell you that they’re fantastic to own, as I can’t guarantee how long they’ll last or if they’re actually worth the price.

So without further ado, here are my top ten niche fragrances for women, in no particular order, for the year 2022.

Love Don’t Be Shy by Kilian

Love Don’t Be Shy is a beautiful floral fragrance that starts off with top notes of neroli, bergamot, pink pepper, and coriander. The middle notes consist of orange blossom, jasmine, honeysuckle, rose, and iris. The base notes are sugar, caramel, vanilla, musk, civet, and babdanum.

This is as sweet as cotton candy and bubble gum, and I was in love at first sniff. I absolutely love the delicate sweetness of this fragrance and how it lingers on my skin. It is absolutely gorgeous and, hands down, one of my absolute favorites.
