Mos Espa, Tunisia

Remember the small but bustling town of Tatooine that young Anakin Skywalker grew up in? Tatooine was filled with huts that many called home, traders, and other booming businesses that served just about everyone in the galaxy. If you don’t remember the huts, you most will most likely remember the Pod-racing scene that took place.

Well, that set was built in the middle of the desert in Tunisia and still stands today making it one of the best areas for Star Wars fans to visit. Fans can walk the same streets that Anakin walked in and view the sights the small bustling town had to offer.

Lake Como, Italy

Lake Como was the setting for the beautiful planet of Naboo in the movies. With its staggering beauty, Lake Como is where the famous picnic scene between Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker was filmed and where their wedding took place. Many diehard Star Wars fans enjoy planning their wedding here where Anakin and Padme showed their love for one another.

It is also where the Villa del Balbianello and the Tremezzo public garden was filmed. While the Tremezzo public garden scene was cut in the final edit of the movie, it is still worth a visit.

Even if you’re not a Star Wars fan, Lake Como is one of the 3rd largest lakes in Italy with breathtaking views and should be on your travel bucket list just so you can experience the beauty it has to offer.

Plaza de Espania, Spain

Set as the Theed Royal Palace where Queen Padme ruled, the Plaza de Espana in Seville is one of the most beautiful architectural places every fan should visit. Of course, the movie effects give it its magical experience, but the plaza and it’s true beauty shouldn’t be missed.

Madame Tussauds, London

See the iconic figures from Star Wars as you have never seen them before. Created in close collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm, the Star Wars set at Madame Tussauds is a unique experience every fan should see.

Madame Tussauds has recreated some of your favorite Star Wars heroes and villains in a wax form giving you the unique opportunity to explore a galaxy of locations including the swamps of Dagobah, Jabba’s Throne Room, and the flight deck of the Millennium Falcon. You will even be able to look down on one of the most epic lightsaber battles between Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi and experience the Mustafar with fiery special effects.

Redwood National Park

Redwood National and State Parks are the home to those beautiful ancient tall trees that were the backdrop of Endor, home to those cute furry Ewoks who helped destroy the Death Star.

This is another must-see destination that everyone should visit, whether you are a Star Wars fan or not.  The magnificent trees grow to 300 feet or more making it an experience to see all its own. However, for Star Wars fans who want to visit the land of the Ewolks, this is a destination that should be on your list.

Star Wars fans from around the world should add these destinations to their travel bucket list. Visiting some of the most beautiful places in the world where the movies were filmed and experiencing some of the best Star Wars attractions can be exciting for fans.
