Spring Into Action With Toy State - Review

Disclaimer: I received products  for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

There is nothing worse than being stuck indoors all winter long. It is really depressing and being an outdoor kid I love being able to go outside and do things. Winter has no doubt overstayed its welcome this year, leaving kids itching for outdoor playtime and parents craving ways to keep their children entertained. And Toy State is ready to spring into action with exciting new offerings from its flagship Road Rippers brand as well as Hot Wheels and CAT licensed products.

Now celebrating it's 30th anniversary, Toy State aims to inspire a state of imagination in kids and parents alike by creating exciting adventures during both indoor and outdoor play. And any adventure is possible with Toy State's spring 2014 line.

Here is a bit about Toy State:

Toy State is an award winning, innovator and industry leader in the manufacture of licensed and highly stylized lights and sound vehicles.

Since its founding in 1987, Toy State designers have been creating authentic, licensed, award-winning, highly-stylized lights and sounds vehicles from the world's leading automakers like GM, Ford, Chrysler, Kawasaki and construction equipment manufacturer Caterpillar.

Working in-step with the world's leading automakers, Toy State products provide hours of enjoyment for kids of all ages.
My brother was lucky enough to try out one toy from each of Road Rippers, Hot Wheels and CAT new 2014 line.

Ripp has created a fleet of ultra-cool custom-designed vehicles just for you! Multiple play functions, lights & sound fun, and all the best licensed and custom body styles will keep playtime rollin’ all day long!

From Road Rippers: Street Beatz - Custom-designed vehicles with a high-impact speaker-pulsing action! Features great music, realistic vehicle sounds and flashing lights. Ages 3+, SRP $15.99

From Hot Wheels: Engine Power R/C - Hot Wheels custom vehicles with full-function R/C driving and a rumbling engine feature. Includes working headlights and a light-up engine during the driving action. Ages 6+, SRP $29.99.

From CAT: Truck and Trailer - Classic Cat machine styles with freewheeling driving. Each set includes a detachable trailer carrying a CAT Mini Mover featuring flashing lights, fun vocal phrasses and realistic sound effects. Ages 3+, SRP $14.99.

These toys have taken a beating and not just from me but from my brothers as well. They have tumbled down the stairs and they have been thrown by me and they still work just as they did out of the box. Not much toys can take a beating from a toddler and live to tell about it but these sure do! Your little ones will love the interactive details but be sure to keep some batteries on hand because with the amount of use they'll get, you do not want to run of of juice power. We are also loving the price points on these vehicles as well. Not too expensive at all!

With the super great weather that's being experienced now there is no excuse for your little ones to be kept indoors. Take these super cool cars and trucks for a spin inside and outside. Be sure to check out the other amazing toys that's available at Toy State. Toy State gets me and my brothers THUMBS UP!

  5. My youngest son would go crazy over those. Winter did not hold us back for getting outdoors but there are days and especially evenings when it is too dark to go out to play that these would definitely get used. Of course my son would also take them with him to the park to play.

  21. That CAT truck and trailer would be a HUGE hit with my almost 4 year old - he ignores Hot Wheels in favor of Disney die cast cars, but those big yellow trucks are a favorite!
