It’s the month of love, February, and this month’s fragrance of the month is none other than Rolling in Love by Kilian.
In January, we highlighted Eau Duelle by Diptyque, a smoky vanilla fragrance that smells amazing during the cooler months. This month it’s all about love and Rolling in Love by Kilian is the perfect scent for February. We couldn’t resist naming it our fragrance of the month, not just due to the name, but the red color (known as the color of love) as well. With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, this fragrance makes the perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
About Kilian:
Heir to a long line of cognac makers who were pioneers in luxury, Kilian decided to take up the torch of family tradition. Creating a new luxury brand was definitely a challenge worthy of his predecessors. Many of Kilian’s fragrances today carry this childhood memory as they are reminiscent of the sugar in the alcohol and the wood of the cognac barrels.
This fragrance house is hands down one of my favorite niche perfume brands. And in a future post on my 10 top niche fragrances for women, I’ll be highlighting another of my favorite from the By Kilian house.
Rolling in Love by By Kilian is a newer fragrance, having been launched in 2019, and is a sweet and creamy white floral scent.

Kilian does a great job of combining all the ingredients together. What you’re left with is a sexy fragrance that’s chic and sensual, with impressive sillage. It’s not annoyingly sweet, but you do get that hint of freesia and tuberose. I like to think of it as a floral gourmand. It is warm and rich, such a beautiful creation, and, as stated, perfect for Valentine’s Day.
You can definitely smell the “floral” in the perfume on the first spritz, but the drydown is an elegant and addicting vanilla almond. It has such a beautiful aroma that is not too sweet. I’m all about vanilla fragrances, and be sure to stay tuned for my favorite vanilla fragrances that I’ll be sharing with you shortly.
My daughter, who sprayed this, said it reminded her a bit of Libre Intense, which I also own, but this is much sweeter, in my opinion. However, Libre is a much more affordable alternative if you’d rather not spend a lot on a fragrance.
This scent has great sillage and lasts easily for about 6 hours on the skin and a lot longer on your clothing. I won’t just consider this a date night fragrance, as it can be easily worn during the day as well. It’s also the perfect scent for the cooler months or your springtime fragrance.
So if you’re looking for that perfect fragrance for your loved one for Valentine’s Day, I say pick up a bottle of Rolling in Love by Kilian. They will thank you for it.
