My First Visit to the Dentist

Today was a very interesting day. I got to go to the dentist. It was my very first visit to the dentist and it was not as scary as I thought it would be. The waiting room was very inviting but I had to wait a little while and I hate waiting. Waiting makes me very cranky. Never keep a young lady waiting.

Not a happy camper in the waiting room

When I was finally called back to see the dentist my mom held my hand and walked me back to his office. Mommy sat me in the dentist chair but I decided that I did not want to sit by myself so mommy had to hold me in her lap so the dentist could take a look at my teeth.

All done at the dentist

He said that I had nice white, straight and beautiful teeth and I need to continue brushing. He recommended that I introduce fluoride toothpaste when I’m three years old but in the meantime I had to continue brushing and flossing and no bedtime bottles. Haha, he doesn’t realize that I’m a big girl now and I don’t do bedtime bottles anymore.

He also said that I have most of my baby teeth, I’m only missing 4 which may come in sometime soon. I like my new dentist and can’t wait to go back and visit him in 6 months and I’ll once again be cavity free.

Before I left I was given a pink dinosaur for being such a great patient. Yay me!

Love,

Madison ♥
