Its time once again to review our Citrus Lane Toddler Subscription Box but this time Citrus Lane decided to send me one for free. For those wondering what Citrus Lane is let me tell you all about it. Citrus Lane is a monthly box subscription service for newborns up to age 5. The boxes are themed and tailored to your child’s age. Every month I get a box with 4-5 surprise items inside from trusted brands and so far I haven’t been disappointed. I’m now 19 months old so I get a toddler box and for those interested in reading what I got in my last box you can read about it HERE.
Citrus Lane was started by moms to help new parents cut through the confusion and discover the best products and brands for their children, helping them save time and stay prepared for their little ones’ changing needs. Citrus Lane only works with brands that offer the best products for kids. By doing so, Citrus Lane helps parents discover fresh brands and exciting new products. Some of their favorite discoveries have been from top consumer brands such as Green Toys, Barefoot Books, Honest Company, Skip Hop, Plum Organics, and Aden & Anais.
Mommy and I decided to keep up with the yellow theme by dressing me once again in something yellow to match my yellow Citrus Lane box. Once again Citrus Lane makes our job easy by inserting their beautiful card detailing everything that came in our box.
The card read:
Hello from Citrus Lane! September marks the start of fall, which means you’ll probably be spending more time indoors, and we kept that in mind when choosing this month’s items. We’re excited to introduce you to three new partners, to help you discover new brands and products. We sent you a gorgeous book from art publisher Ammo Books, an irresistible Goody Bag from North American Bear Company, a brand new snack from Happy Family and a special treat for Mom. We hope that you enjoy these products as much as we enjoyed choosing them for you!
Now on to our unboxing.
Charley Harper ABCs from AMMO Books – $7.96
This isn’t your typical learning-your-ABCs book. Each page is more like a piece of art. Exquisitely designed and beautifully printed, it contains the work of American illustrator Charley Harper, who drew upon shapes, color combinations, patterns and textures to create intriguing images. Ammo Books has also provided the gorgeous printing on the inside of our Citrus Lane box. Please enjoy reusing your box as wall art, or save for a future coloring project.
I love reading as most of you my regular readers know. The more books the merrier I say and this one was beautiful on the inside. Mommy took a little video and showed a little bit of the inside. As for the box we were amazed at the art work when we opened it. I loved it! I can’t wait to color it with mommy. Here’s a picture of the inside of my box. Beautiful isn’t it? Thank you Citrus Lane!
Poodle Goody Bag from North American Bear Company – $12.00
We’ve found that little girls absolutely adore mimicking their mommies, and how better to look like mom than with a handbag slung over the shoulder. This Goody Bag is the perfect first accessory so that your little girl can keep track of all her “treasures”. Soft and stylish (not to mention adorable) it’s fully lined, equipped with tricot handles and closes with velcro. But unlike mom’s, it’s totally machine washable.
Ok I do like to look like mommy but my mommy has never had a bag that looks like a little dog. This would be great for me to hide those organic candy that I love to steal. Lets hope mommy never finds them.
Playful Wash from Episencial – $4.00
Here’s an ultra-gentle head-to-toe wash for the entire family. It blends the natural cleaning properties of pure tangerine oil with calming calendula and aloe for a fresh, citrusy scent. The wash is pH-balanced, so it’s safe for the eyes and rinses quickly – a sanity savor if you have a child who hates having their hair washed. Completely organic and safe for all ages. It’s concentrated too (a little goes a long way).
Mommy and I have only tried this brand before using their sunscreen and didn’t like it too much. Hopefully this baby wash would be better. It says that it’s enriched with natural calendula and moisturizing tangerine oil so I’m looking forward to giving this a shot.
Super Toddler Bar from Happy Family – $0.84
We often get requests for gluten free snacks, and are excited to be able to share these yummy, gluten free bars with you. Happy Tot Super Toddler Bars are made with organic ingredients like whole-grain brown rice, kale, sunbutter and Salba, nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, protein and calcium. No additives or artificial ingredients to worry about, just yummy nutritious goodness in a convenient grab-and-go bar that’s easy to hold-great for little ones who are learning to feed themselves.
I am big fan of Happy Family so I was super excited to receive this Toddler Bar. I couldn’t wait to get it open, I started eating it before mommy could even take a picture that’s why it looks all chewed up. I knew I was going to love it and I sure did. Happy Family makes all organic snacks and they’re super delicious. We also got some coupons in our box so we’re really happy.
Nail Color from Julep – $14.00
The Citrus Lane team has been having so much fun as product testers, doing our nails with fun colors from Julep. We love that Julep nail polish does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene or DBP. It’s fast-drying, chip-resistant and highly pigmented formula lets you enjoy all the benefits of a professional nail salon product at home – perfect when you can’t carve out the time for a mani/pedi.
Mommy got something for her this month in her box but because of mommy’s job mommy doesn’t wear nail polish. My big sister Krxssy does so she gets to have something from my box. Krxssy you owe me!
I LOVE my Citrus Lane box this month! Remember I said last month that was my best box ever? Well I take that back, this is my best box ever!! I got to try a new toddler bar that I loved, got a great book and even my box itself was amazing. I get to color it!! Because it was so awesome mommy decided to make another video. She’s getting a little better at it but still she’s not me.
