Wine Corks Shadowbox ~ Sip Sip Hooray!

Any time is a good time for wine. After all, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right? Now you can save those wine corks and turn them into a work of art like this wine cork shadowbox. Sip sip, hooray!

By no means can I be considered a wine connoisseur. Me distinguishing a $5 bottle of wine and a $500 bottle of wine is like me painting the Mona Lisa. It’s not going to happen! However, that doesn’t stop me from enjoying a glass of wine whenever I can, and my kitchen cabinet is always stocked with a bottle or two for when company arrives, because I personally think that wine and friends go hand-in-hand. Who’s with me?

I never used to save my wine corks, but after my shadowbox obsession kicked in last year, I find that I’ve been saving more out of the ordinary items and wine corks just happened to be one of them. Unfortunately for me, most of my wine bottles come with screw tops, (is that an indication that I don’t buy too expensive of wines?), that meant that I didn’t have enough wine corks for this effortless craft that I’m sharing with you today. Luckily, Amazon always comes to the rescue, and I was able to purchase wine corks there. Seems like you really can get anything on Amazon.

So here goes!

Wine Corks Shadowbox

Here is what you’ll need:

Supplies:

Wine corks

Vinyl Quote (Can also make one using your Cricut machine)

Shadowbox

Instructions:

(When I mentioned that this was simple, I meant it. It literally takes three easy-as-pie steps and you really don’t need directional photos because of how straightforward it is.)

Step 1.  Remove the back cover of the shadowbox and set aside.

Step 2. Add your wine corks to your shadowbox and then replace the cover.

Step 3. Next place your vinyl sticker quote on the glass of your shadow box, and your project is now complete.

Did I mention that it was easy as 1-2-3? I sure did!

Now just place this anywhere that your heart desires. Mine is in my kitchen to remind me that it’s ok to have a glass of wine whenever. Sip sip hooray!
