Madison has been obsessed with Chuck E. Cheese's since we celebrated her 2nd birthday there, but we have been visiting Chuck E. Cheese's even before then. I remember when they first opened their doors in Brooklyn, NY., my older kids were so excited to visit and since then Chuck E. Cheese's has been a family fun staple in our household. It's an inexpensive way for the kids to decompress on the weekends, since it's free to visit, and because it's all indoors, there not much to worry about, including the weather.
Over the weekend, Madison and I and her friend visited Chuck E. Cheese's and had a blast. I happened to play their Rip It, Win It. Play It Instant Win Game and won a few prizes. Woohoo!

So what is the Rip It, Win It. Play It Instant Win Game?
It's very simple and available through March 11, 2018. There are more than $27 million in prizes including a Game Room Makeover grand prize valued at $5,000, an Xbox One S console and Fandango promo codes as well as tickets and Play Pass Points!

- Just purchase one large adult-size cup at any Chuck E. Cheese’s location and claim your game piece.
- Every cup wins a prize!
- No purchase is necessary. If you’re unable to visit a Chuck E. Cheese's location, you can request a game piece by mail.

So how can you have fun at Chuck E. Cheese's?

What's great is that you get rewarded for each game you play with tickets. You can see the joy on the kids faces when they play and win tickets, and Madison had such a big smile on her face.

Don't forget the food.
Chuck E. Cheese's does not disappoint in the food arena. The pizza is actually quite delicious and you can specialize your pizza, however the menu features more than pizza. There are wings, sandwiches and even a salad bar. There are food options for even the pickiest eater, and drinks all comes with free refills.

It has been awhile that we have been here to be honest. My kids actually haven't asked or thought about it. So, I haven't pushed it, because it truly isn't my favorite place to go in all honesty. But do agree with your reasons how the kids can have fun here still :)
ReplyDeleteMadison loves it there, but by the time I leave, I usually have a headache, but I endure it for her. She always have lots of fun.
DeleteMy daughter has been begging to go to Chuck E Cheeses. We still haven't gone yet, but probably will soon since her bday is coming up. These are some really good pointers since I am actually not the biggest fan of the place lol
ReplyDeleteNow is the time to go and having a birthday party there will be awesome. We celebrated Madison's 2nd birthday there and she's been asking for another since then, but we've done other places. I may do her 7th there if she's still interested.
DeleteWe love it here too! My kids are getting older, but they still love coming here for the pizza and games. We usually go a lot during the summer!
ReplyDeleteThe pizza and the games are awesome. The only thing that I wished was that the prizes weren't so expensive.
DeleteI find that the best way to have fun at Chuck E Cheese's is just to go. LOL. I may have a reputation for playing on the games myself...
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone Stacie. Whenever I go with my daughter, I always end up playing some of the games myself.
DeleteWe have Chuck E. Cheese about 45 min away from our house and we try to go often! We love it! So much to do!
ReplyDeleteOur is about 15 minutes, but we don't go that often, but whenever we can we do. It also helps that my daughter just loves it there.
DeleteWe don't have chuck-e-cheese here in the UK, so I have never visited. However, the games and prizes sound like a great reason to go and visit, especially that their pizza is so good as well!
ReplyDeleteAwww, you guys are truly missing out on the fun. Maybe you might have something similar and if not, maybe Chuck E. Cheese's might make it to the UK one day.
DeleteOoh! I am writing about our visit there next week. We went last summer and all of my siblings came and it was magical. We had such a blast.
ReplyDeleteOh that is so exciting. I can't wait to read your post and how much fun you and the kids had. Madison just loves to go there.
DeleteLooks like you had a great time, my son would love to have a place like this to go to the only thing is he would refuse to go home home when it's time.
ReplyDeleteThat is usually the case with kids when they're having so much fun. I usually have to beg Madison to leave and promise that we'll return soon.
DeleteI always loved Chuck E Cheese when my kids were younger. It has everything including food, games and characters I wish they were young again.
ReplyDeleteWell you're never too old to have fun, at least I don't think so. My oldest kids would go with us and play the games, since there are games there for older kids as well.
DeleteWe used to go there when the kids were little and always had so much fun! If you're going back this month- Coupon code 717 gets you 100 play points for $20 (plus tax). It's an unpublished code and if you say “I need a fun break!” and get 50 tickets with a food purchase. I do keep up with these things for my grandkids
ReplyDeleteThat is so good to know. Thank you so much! We may be going back this month as I did promise Madison that we'll be going back, so this coupon code will be great for us.
DeleteChuck E Cheese always knows how to make dining a fun experience for kids. I love that you can win tickets and exchange them for a nice prize. Good food and fun times! These are the reasons I always enjoy taking my kids (and grandkid) to Chuck E Cheese!
ReplyDeleteThey sure do and exchanging those tickets for prizes is what makes the kids day. My daughter just loves to pick out her prize knowing that she won it by herself.
DeleteWe recently went to Chuck E. Cheese and my kids loved it. When I get enough energy to chase three kids around, we will go back.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha maybe chasing the kids around is just what you need. I know that's what happens when I go, it's a workout for sure.
DeleteMy kids love Chuck E Cheese, but what kid doesn't!? When I was younger it was the magical place to be!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! I guess that's why they say it's where a kid can be a kid. My kids have always loved it and still do.
DeleteOur Chuck E Cheese closed down years ago. My oldest daughter will be 19 in June, and the last they were open she was turning 4! So it's been a minute since we've been in one. It sounds like they've really added to the fun and games that remind me so much of the classic that I remember.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. We had one opened in Brooklyn years ago, and as far as I know, it's still there. There are a few near me with the closest being 15 minutes away. There's still a lot to do and the kids always have fun there.
DeleteI used to love saving my vouchers for bigger prizes! I've always wondered what ChuckECheese was like nowadays but from the looks of it, they still seem like tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteYes, there's still a lot of fun. That's what I would do at times, especially since some of the smaller prizes aren't worth it to me, so we would save our vouchers and get a big prize the next time we went.
DeleteI haven't been to Chuck E Cheese in ages, probably a good 15 years. I didn't know they took a coupon, they didn't back in the day when we went.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very long time. They do now accept coupons and even have them listed on their site. You can check it out before you go and save some money.
DeleteMy boys have been begging me to take them to Chuck E. Cheese for the longest! Now that I know they have so much to offer, I may just take them!
ReplyDeleteYes you should! They have enough to offer for not just the kids, but for you too. They have a great salad bar if you're watching your diet.
DeleteI haven't been to Chuck E Cheese's Since I was a kid. It was such a fun place! I love that pic of your daughter with her hair flying! So cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you. She was playing a whack a mole game or something like that and was so into it, it was hysterical. You should pay them a visit again.
DeleteCan't say no to a place like Chuck E Cheese's especially when it comes to the kids. I think these are all awesome ways to have fun there! The food is always a must after hours of playing!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, and don't forget to get that cup when you're buying food. It's even more ways to carry on the fun with the chance to win some fun prizes.
DeleteSuch a great place to treat the kids to especially when you're celebrating a birthday. I think it's awesome that they have everything you need, from the fun to the food! It's definitely a must go to!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing for birthdays for sure. We did a birthday party for Madison there in the past and all the kids had a blast!
DeleteMe son used to love ChuckeCheeses! I'm looking forward to taking my step grandson soon!
ReplyDeleteThat would be great and I'm sure that you both would have a great time there. Don't forget to grab some coupons before you go.
DeleteI haven't been to Chuck E Cheesees in a really long time. I know my kids love it though, so we'd love to go back!!! What fun. - Jeanine
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to take the kids once again and you will all have a blast. I've found that the younger kids truly enjoy it so much more though. The older kids always seem to think that they're too old until they start having fun.
DeleteHands up living the UK I have never tried the delights of Chuck E Cheeses! Definitely somewhere I would love to have tried at some point, perhaps one day!
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day when you visit the US you can pay a visit to Chuck E Cheese's as well. I'm sure that you'll enjoy it, especially if you're visiting with kids.
DeleteSounds like a fun place to celebrate kid's birthdays! Can keep young ones entertained for hours!
ReplyDeleteThat's for sure! There is enough to do for everyone, old and young alike, but the young ones always seem to enjoy it so much more.
DeleteChuck E. Cheese has always been the cool kids hangout. I used to go as a kid and I am happy they are still around.
ReplyDeleteYes they still are and the kids still think that it's cool to this day. Maybe when my kids are older they will also take their kids there as well.
DeleteI loved going to Chuck E Cheese as a kid. Such a great place for birthdays.
ReplyDeleteThat is for sure! I don't think you can fun anywhere else on a birthday as much as you can have fun at Chuck E. Cheese's.
DeleteI love how much your daughter loves Chuck E Cheese. Looks like a great place to have fun
ReplyDeleteIt is a fun place and she's not the only one who loves it. Every child that was there was having fun, and some didn't want to leave, including my own.
DeleteHave never been to one. But looks like a fun place to take the kids, very entertaining
ReplyDeleteYou are so missing out on fun. Maybe if you can find your nearest Chuck E. Cheese's you can pay them a visit.
DeleteWe don't have Chuck E Cheese where I live but it looks like a fun place, perfect for kids!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I'm so sorry to hear that. Seems like quite a few people haven't visited Chuck E. Cheese's and you're totally missing out on lots of fun.
DeleteThere is nothing more beautiful than a child's smile. Man feels amazing when his child has fun. By the way, the little one has great hair
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Anatoliy for the compliment. She did have an amazing time there and I've already promised that we'll be going back again soon.
DeleteWe haven't been to a Chuck-e-Cheese in YEARS. This post took me back, I loved it. Thanks for sharing, we need to go again!
ReplyDeleteWhy haven't you been back? Didn't you have fun when you went? I know that it can get loud with all the kids playing, but it's a good loud.
DeleteMy girls love Chuck E. Cheese! As a kid, I loved it because of the video games and tunnels (and balls), which have since showed its face in regular restaurants now. Looking back, I also enjoyed the animatronics, which I don't see much anymore. Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteThere's still lots of games for the kids to play and the tunnels are still there too. My daughter found her way all the way and slid back down. She had a ball.
DeleteWe have a Chuck E Cheese near the house and the girls had a blast there. Now they are older and their interests have changed. We did love birthday parties in there.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that the older the kids get, the more they don't like going to places such as Chuck E. Cheese's because they think it's only for little kids, but it's fun for everyone!
