Joy Gold Christmas Tablescape

We are a little bit late sharing our Joy Gold Christmas Tablescape for the holidays and I have to say that I don’t have a good reason. Blame it on traveling extensively for the holidays. We had an amazing 8 days at Walt Disney World and now we’re currently in New York City, my home, spending the holidays with family. However, we decided that we wanted to celebrate a Caribbean at home before we left. So we shared our Oxtails Over Curried Jasmine Rice and our Holiday Tropical Punch. When it comes to the holidays we like to go all out, but we also like to keep it low-budget, after all we want to save some cash for food and gifts. Last year we did a fairly inexpensive Traditional Tablescape which cost little to nothing, this year I wanted a bit more gold but still something that won’t bust my budget. What I came up with I absolutely loved! Check it out!

Joy Gold Christmas Tablescape

Supplies Needed:

Six  Gold Chargers

Six Set of Silverware

Six White Salad Plates

Six Goblets, 9 oz

Six Cream with Gold Trim Cloth Napkins {Pier 1 Import}

Six  Dinner Plate in Scallop Navy by Grace’s Teaware (or other white, black or gold dinner plates)

Four Brown Glass- Mason Jars {Target $1.00 Section}

One White Tablecloth

One Roll of Gold Wrapping Paper

Five Red Berry Branches

Additional Supplies:

Gold Joy Sign

Christmas Wreath

Glass Decorative Vase

Red & Green small styrofoam balls (craft store)

Directions:

Set the table by laying out the white tablecloth over the table. Next, roll the gold wrapping paper across the table. Make sure you have enough to cover each side.

Place a gold charger at each place setting. Follow up with a Dinner Plate, Salad Plate, and add a goblet to the right side of each plate.

To the right of each plate, lay down a cloth napkin and place the silverware on top. Repeat this process until all place settings are complete.

For the center of the table, we’re going to spruce it up with a Christmas wreath. You can make your own Christmas wreath by going to the craft store and getting the necessary supplies, or skipping over to the next aisle and buy one already made. Or buy one here.

Set the wreath towards one end of the table. I decided not to set this piece in the center of the table so we can leave room for the food.

Place a glass decorative vase inside of the wreath.

Fill the glass with red and green (or other Christmas colors) mini styrofoam balls.

Place a gold joy sign in front of the wreath decoration.

If you have room on the table for more decorations, add other festive Christmas decorations, or gold, white or black decorations.

For contrast, I picked up four brown glassware (has a mason jar look from Target), and placed a red berry branch inside each one and put them on the table.

I also added a red berry branch to the wreath for additional color pop!

Add the food, and your Christmas tablescape is ready to wow your guests!
