Meet Ella

This is Ella! She is our pet cocker spaniel and Bentley’s partner in crime. She also belongs to the youngest member of our human family, Madison, but don’t let that sweet little face fool you. She can be just as mischievous as Bentley and Madison combined. I remember it like it was yesterday, heading to Kansas City, Missouri to pick up this tiny little girl to bring her home to meet our family. Ella was the smallest of her siblings and what is considered the runt of the litter, but to us she was also the cutest of them all. She was so tiny that she fit in the palm of your hands easily.

Now I only feed the best to my pets just I do with my human family, and just like I give my human family vitamins that they may be lacking so that they can grow healthy and strong, I do the same for my animal family as well. After all they are family. So what did I decide to give Ella so that she could grow up as big and strong as Bentley and Madison is? I decided that we were going to give her Dr. Harvey’s Formative Years Herbal Supplement for Puppies.

As you can see the Dr Harveys Formative Years Herbal Supplement for Puppies is a powdered supplement and it’s recommended for puppies and young dogs from weaning to 18 months of age. Ella will be 3 months soon so she still has a long way to go. This herbal supplement helps provide vitamins and minerals that when added to her diet can help her during the months she needs it most.

When I first opened the can my first thought was “catnip” because of the green color. I smelled it and the scent if very mild but you can smell the herbs that are in it. A few of them you may even use in your own food. It does come with an included scoop and according to the container, you have approximately 88 scoops based on the weight of your puppy. The ingredients are as follows:

Spirulina, Lecithin, Nutritional Yeast, Garlic, Flax Seed Meal, Alfalfa Leaf, Kelp, Oaststraw, Fennel Seed, Marigold Flowers, Chamomile Flowers, Dandelion Root, Red Clover Blossoms, Yellow Dock Root, Fenugreek Seed, Celery Seed.

One thing to note about Dr. Harvey’s Formative Years Supplement for puppies is that it contains no preservatives, no dyes or synthetic ingredients, no salt, sugar, wheat or corn and is cruelty free. Just plain old goodness.

We have been feeding this to Ella and Bentley in both their wet and dry food and I can certainly see a huge difference since we’ve gotten her. She currently only need 1 scoop because of her weight but she has gotten a lot bigger to begin with, and might have even surpassed her siblings if I could see them again. She has a lot of energy and loves to run around outdoors and her coat just simply shines.

I attribute all this to using Dr. Harvey’s Formative Years Herbal Supplement for Puppies. I don’t know what I would have done without it. So if you’re looking for a supplement for your own puppies, one that doesn’t contain any synthetic ingredients and is just plain old good for them, I would suggest getting this. It sure does get Bentley and Ella’s Paws Up!

Let’s discuss: Do you give your fur babies vitamins and supplements?
