The Madame Alexander Baby Huggums with Pink Check Onesie comes in a cute box that is ready for gifting, complete with tissue paper. She is the perfect first doll for your little one. At only 12 inches tall she is recommended for ages 3+, but I would have to say that this can be used for a child much younger. There are no small parts that your little one can choke on which is usually the main worry. She is also lightweight which makes it easy for your little ones younger than 3 to take around with them.
She comes dressed in pink and white one piece footed sleeper that has lace and ribbon trim. She is easy to dress and undress and her sleeper is velcroed making it easy for me to take and put on her clothes.
She has the cutest pink rosy cheeks with pink lips, and also has blue eyes that can open and close. Her eyes stay open when we play during the day and when I put her to lay down she closes them for sleep. I love dolls that close their eyes to sleep just like I do. It gives them that extra special touch.
Now one of the features that mommy and I really love was the fact that her entire body, except for her head that is plastic, is soft. She has a soft body complete with cloth feet and hands. That's why I assume she's called Huggums, because she is totally huggable. Because her body is soft she can be spot cleaned. You can quite possibly wash her lower half in gentle baby detergent to keep her clean.
Madame Alexander has been creating dolls for your little ones since 1923 and the Huggums line of dolls have been around for almost as long. They are long lasting and truly makes the best first doll for your little one.
Your little one would enjoy hugging and cuddling them and taking them everywhere. She makes the perfect 1st Christmas gift, first birthday gift or anytime gift. I am so loving my new Madame Alexander Baby Huggums with Pink Check Onesie and can't believe I didn't own her before. She totally gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!

That is adorable. I collect the Madame Alexander 8" dolls, but no one is allowed to touch those.
ReplyDeleteThese remind me of the dolls I had while growing up. The fact that they have the soft bodies makes them even nicer for little girls. I used to hate to try to sleep with a regular one where you roll over in the middle of the night and have a hard leg poking into your kidneys! This is much better!
ReplyDeleteAw what a cute doll. i like that your little one gave it a huge hug she liked it so much.
