Back to School With Gymboree

Disclaimer: I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip. All opinions however of Gymboree are totally my own.

I may be a bit biased when it comes to Gymboree but that’s only because I have been wearing their clothing since the very first day I was born. As I may have mentioned before, my coming home from the hospital outfit was purchased at Gymboree. 90% of my special occasion and everyday outfits are also purchased there. Now there is one very simple reason for that. Mommy doesn’t like wasting money. What mommy considers a waste is spending money on something that will only last 1 or two washes. You have nothing to worry about with Gymboree’s clothing. They are so well made that they can be washed over and over again and even passed down to family members or friends and still look almost like new. You noticed I said “almost”, that’s because after a few washes NOTHING looks like new anymore. Mommy and I hear this all the time. “Gymboree is too expensive for me.” Well let me say this, we prefer to pay for quality and not quantity.

That being said why shop anywhere else for your little or big ones for back to school? Now not only is their clothing long lasting but when it comes to fashion, Gymboree is ahead of the rest. Their new Play Uniform line is made to resist wrinkles, release stains in the wash, breathe easy and of course look great wear after wear, just as with all of their other clothing.

When mommy and I received our gift card in the mail to show you just a few of the items available we headed out on the weekend. Each shopping trip to Gymboree is an adventure. This is a store that not only caters to your shopping needs but also to the little ones as well. Each Gymboree store has a built in TV where your little one can sit and entertain themselves watching Gymboree TV. I thought that this was only in the US but when I went to Canada, it is also available in the Canadian stores too. Yes I had to go to Gymboree when I was in Canada. Mommy and I just couldn’t resist.

For those children who don’t wear uniforms to school Gymboree has just the thing for you. You can “dress up” in their theme lines and be fashionable on day 1 of school. What I love is that with each theme you can totally mix and match all your pieces. Just take a look at a few things I was able to pick up. I also want to show you the detailing on some of these pieces. They are astonishingly beautiful. This is from their newest baby girl collection Parisian Afternoon. The baby girl line goes from sizes 3M-5T so I will be wearing this line for a while to come.

Gymboree’s clothing are perfect for the great outdoors and are always age appropriate. The designs are usually colorful and the fabric comfortable and usually includes lot of details which I am going to show for each outfit. Their clothing can withstand even the roughest of play and still come out look new. That’s the quality that we see in each of Gymboree’s line. Mommy and I have never had an issue with any piece of their clothing ever.

Gymboree has been partnering with St. with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2006, andraised more than $3 million to help St. Jude find cures and save children everywhere who are fighting cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Go St. Jude! This is also one of mommy’s charity so we are really proud of Gymboree for doing this.

They have also supported lots of charities including March of Dimes, Junior Achievement Organization, Grupo de la Comida, St. Anthony Foundation, San Francisco Food Bank, K.I.D.S., Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, buildON, Race to Erase MS and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

Don’t you just love a company that gives back?

Now don’t think that I am just saying all these things about Gymboree because I got it for free. By now my readers know that doesn’t influence my reviews at all. I stand behind everything I write and I LOVE Gymboree and have endorsed them way before I started working with them. Just ask mommy’s friends and family. This is a company that I know I can depend on when it comes to my clothing lasting a long time. With the economy the way it is, why throw your money away? Get value for your money and you can get that with Gymboree.

Now back to my review. There are coordinating accessories to complete every outfit, making Gymboree kids unique from head-to-toe. I just had to show off those shoes that I’m wearing in all my pics. They are the Patent Bow Boat Shoesand mommy and I think that they are absolutely darling. They were the shoes that I wore on the 4th of July because they were made for that day. Just check out the bright red color. They slip on easily on and off and when mommy says, “go and get your shoes”, they are usually the first I pick up because of that very reason.
