March 2014 Stork Stack – 26 Month Old – Review

I just unveiled my February box and here is March. It’s always exciting receiving my subscription boxes and Stork Stack has been one of my favorite since I was first introduced to them. There’s nothing quite like receiving a box of goodies catered just for you. It’s always such a fun surprise every month. Now if you would like to see what I got last month, you can check out my February Stork Stack box. Stork Stack for those who don’t know is a monthly subscription service for babies in the third trimester up to age of 3. I don’t have much longer before I can no longer receive my Stork Stack but as of now I’m enjoying it. This box is for a 26 month old. I have quite a ways to go before I’m 26 months old but they are usually spot on and I can use them right now anyway.

Each month a digital card is sent highlighting what is going to be in our box. Mommy never reads the card until she opens the box so she can describe to you what is in there better. This month our card read:

Here in Chicago we have had just about as much snow, ice and winter as we can take. In other words, we’re all ready for a “Spring Fling” Stack! This March the Stork is delivering some of our favorite bright, cheery and colorful products in an effort to encourage smile and sunshine. Green Toys, Baby Legs, aden + anais…these are just a few of the cheery products included in the Stacks this month. We at Stork Stack are happy to be among the first to wish you and your little ones a happy spring!

Upon opening my box I was pleasantly surprised. I first noticed that pink race car and I couldn’t be happier. So without further ado here is the contents of my March 2014 Stork Stack box catered for a 26 month old.

Green Toys Race Car – $8.99

www.greentoys.com

Buckle up, because The Green Toys® Race Car is ready to roll! Built in the USA from 100% recycled plastic milk containers that save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, this sleek racer will tear up the track without harming the planet. This cool hot rod is better than any hybrid, and proudly displays the #2 recycled plastic symbol from which it is made on its hood. The ultra-eco design has no metal axles. No BPA, PVC, phthalates, or external coatings. Available in red, blue, or pink.

You must have seen my Green Toys Review so you may have already known that I just love Green Toys and their products. I have quite a few Green Toys in my toy box and this is another one that I just know that I will love. What’s not to love?

BabyLegs Legwarmers – $12.00

www.babylegs.com

BabyLegs® became a leader in children’s fashion when it created a new niche for its original line of children’s leg and arm warmers in 2005. Invented by a mom to keep her daughter’s legs warm while she was diaper-free, BabyLegs® leg warmers quickly became a parenting essential because of their utility, practicality, and stylish appeal. We’ve since added socks and tights, and more is on the way!

This is another of my favorite. I have gotten quite a few of these in numerous subscription boxes, so much so that mommy have now stopped buying them because I have so many. I am in love with BabyLegs and their Legwarmers and I just love them!

Orange Chocolate Beet Snack – $2.25

www.bitsysbrainfood.com

Bity’s Brainfood are all-natural, letter-shaped cookies in unique flavor combinations such as Lemon Broccoli, Orange Chocolate Beet, Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin and Zucchini Gingerbread Carrot. Made with real fruits and vegetables, Bitsy’s Brainfood is an excellent source of Omega-3 DHA+EPA, Vitamins A, B12, B6, D3 and Folic Acid. They’re a good source of calcium, iron and whole grains, made with over 90% organic ingredients, and GMO-free.

I have had Bitsy’s Brainfood before and I just love them. This one I had never tried before and I couldn’t wait to open it. I have to say that these are pretty good too!

Child’s Play – “Hop A Little, Jump A Little” – $4.99

www.childs-play.com/usa/

This award winning series has been specifically designed for babies. A great introduction to books through well-known nursery rhymes and interactive text. Singing songs and rhymes is the perfect way to bond with your baby and share quality time. It also aids language development by introducing them to the natural sounds and patterns of speech. Combining these with actions also stimulates the brain and helps muscle development.

I get excited whenever I see a book in a subscription box. I have so many books and mommy keeps getting more. She says that reading enhances my vocabulary and I have to agree with her. I love to “read” all by myself and this sure looks like a keeper! Illustrated by Annie Kubler with a fun little rhyme it is so easy to get right into this book. This is perfect for playtime right before nap! Nap? What’s that again?

Larabar Blueberry Muffin and Apple Pie Bars – $1.79

www.larabar.com

At LÄRABAR®, we believe that the foundation of a sound mind, body and spirit is derived from what you eat – and what you eat is most delicious and satisfying when it’s in a whole, natural state. LÄRABAR® is a delicious blend of unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices. Made from whole food, each flavor contains no more than nine ingredients, pure and simple, just as nature intended.

I love these bars. I just wished that Stork Stack would send us actually full sized bars instead of sample sizes. The sample sizes I guess are perfect for us little ones but I usually eat them in less than 2 minutes. Maybe they might hear me and include a full size one next time.

Can you tell what’s my favorite? It was a really tough choice this month but I would have to say that I really do love my book and the car. Those are two things that I would have for a long time while my snacks were finished within 5 minutes. Thanks to my brothers as well who loved them as much as I did. This time I did share.

The total of my Stork Stack box this month was only $30.02. Not that much compared to others I have gotten in the past but I still love receiving my box every month. The monthly subscription for a Stork Stack box is $27.99/month but you can get $10 off your first box by using my referral link. If the link doesn’t work, you can use discount code A241300F.
