I love shoes! I’m sure you know that by now. Mommy and I always say that you can never have too many shoes. When offered to review a shoe from the Little Green Trike Shoe Company how could I say no? Not only are the shoes adorable but they’re made with little ones in mind. Notice that squeak squeak in the post title? That’s exactly what these shoes do. They squeak with every footstep I make. That means that mommy is able to keep track of my every move and knows my whereabouts thanks to my brand new squeakers.

About Little Green Trike Shoe Company

Little Green Trike Shoe Company™ is the creation of Andi Jensen and Julie Larsen, two 40-something moms with a passion for fine children’s wear. We carry and create the original, high-quality Squeaky Feet™ shoes, Sophisticates™, Stompers™, School Squeaks™, and our new bigger kiddo line Sproutin’ Up™ – continuing to design new “fun & funky” styles, as well as carrying the “classics”.

Mommy and I were sent the Lisa Sorbet Orange Mary Jane and I have to say that from the time I received my shoe I wanted it on my feet. Once it was on my feet I did not want it off. If I could have slept in it I would have. The only way they were coming off my feet was through bribery which seemed to work but not for long.

These shoes have seen some wear and it has held up very nicely. Now mommy and I just love shoes as I mentioned before. Shoes made of very good quality materials. Leather is always preferable when it comes to babies/toddlers/kids shoes and Little Green Trike made sure to make theirs with the softest of leather. They are also made of velcro closures making it easy for your little one to put his/her shoe on/off very easily. Makes for independent dressing.

The insole and lining of the shoe is also made of soft leather and is breathable. Great for those little ones with not so nice smelling feet. Yes us little ones do get stinky feet at times. The toe of the shoe is box shaped giving us plenty of wriggle room as well. The outsole is made from durable rubber and is not totally smooth so I can get a firm grip when walking.

Now I bet you’re wondering about that squeaking. Well no need to worry! Unlike some squeakers that you would just have to deal with, Little Green Trike knows that sometimes too much squeaking can become unbearable. They made their shoes with the squeaker being removable. I love jumping in my squeakers and with every move they made the most adorable squeak. Well at least I thought so. Mommy didn’t think so after about 15 minutes of me jumping around. All it takes is your fingernails and it’s very simple to remove the squeaker giving you a totally adorable non-squeak shoe. Don’t worry about losing it, there’s a set of replacement in your shoe box.

Little Green Trike not only have girls squeaky shoes but they also have boys squeaky shoes as well. Their shoes have been recognized in some medical circles as promoting proper heel-to-toe toddlin. They also give back locally and worldwide. Little Green Trike Shoe Company has donated shoes to Primary Children’s Medical Center so that they can be used to help children with walking disabilities learn how to walk properly! They also donate to Soles4Souls, a world-wide organization who collects new shoes to give to those in need. Don’t you just love a company that gives back? Mommy and I sure do!

Little Green Trike shoes are available in toddler sizes 3-10 and their new line Sproutin Up for the bigger kids sizes 11-1. The Sproutin Up line contains no squeak. No fun for the bigger kids. There is also an assortment of matching hair bows and shoe bows that attach to their squeaky shoes and sandals (the Claudia and Corina style) making your shoe even more fun.

I am totally enjoying stomping, jumping, running and doing everything I can in my Little Green Trike shoes and I can’t wait to get another pair. There’s nothing quite like them and I recommend them to every parent with a little one. Knowing where your little one is with an innovative squeak surely does help. Little Green Trike Shoe Company gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!
