Mommy and I are huge fans of Tiggly Shapes so when Tiggly approached us to try out their brand new Christmas app how could we refuse. If you have no idea what Tiggly is you need to check out my review on the original Tiggly Shapes. Tiggly Shapes makes playing the iPad fun! The great thing about Tiggly Shapes is that while you’re having fun you’re also learning as well without even realizing it. Thanks to Tiggly Shapes I now know my basic shapes of triangle, square, star and circle and I’m not even two yet.

About the app:

Tiggly Christmas takes a child through the fun traditions of Christmas: decorating the tree, opening gifts, playing with toys, taking pictures, and sending festive postcards. Children can create ornaments out of stars, circles, squares, and triangles and at the end, see their decorated tree shining brightly! They can use their shapes to unwrap a special gift, and play with their toy as long as they wish. Tiggly Christmas is about the joyful experience of the holidays, complete with all the magic and happy moments — like seeing the snow falling behind the window, and darkening the room to see the lights shining on their tree! The app helps engage children in imaginative play while improving their creativity, fine motor skills, and spatial thinking. Proud mom and dad can share their child’s postcard with their loved ones by sending the cards through email, sharing them on social media, or over Airdrop.

$2.99 – Recommended age: 5 and under

Mommy and I downloaded the app and it was fun seeing my decorations come to life after placing the correct shapes on the app. This app can be played with our without the shapes but since I had the shapes it was even more magical. After placing all my decorations on the tree I received a very special gift which I unwrapped by placing the correct shape once again. Once that was over I was able to take a picture which I could then send to anyone.

I really enjoy playing with my Tiggly Shapes and the Tiggly Christmas App makes the perfect addition for the holidays. For those parents wondering if the shapes would harm their iPad, mommy and I can tell you that it does not. Bring a bit of Tiggly Christmas into your home today. You can download Tiggly Christmas on the iTunes store.

Right now through Christmas you can get FREE SHIPPING on your Tiggly Shapes purchase through the Tiggly Shapes store.
