Tidy Books Bookcase Enhances Love of Reading Review

I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review. I was not paid in any way to write this review. All opinions are my own.

If this is your first time visiting my website, let me tell you: I LOVE BOOKS! My regular readers know that I love books. Books are my lifeline—well, almost. I don’t know what I would do without books in my life. Books take me to another place. I love when mommy reads to me, and our nightly regimen includes a bedtime story (or two) after my bath.

Now, mommy have been collecting books for me for quite some time now, actually before I was even born. When I came home from the hospital there were books waiting for me. Whenever mommy goes shopping there is usually a new book in the bag that comes home for me. I’m also subscribed to quite a few baby/toddler subscription boxes and I also receive books from them as well. Granted to  say, my book collection is constantly growing. Well with an extensive book collection there has to be somewhere to store them. That’s where Tidy Books comes in.

Before Tidy Books came into my life, my books were stored in a cubicle, and although it looked nice, it was difficult at times to get them out. Mommy knew what they were, but at times I didn’t. I would end up taking them all out until I could figure out which one I wanted to read. That sometimes led to me making a mess, and mommy doesn’t like messes.

As if that wasn’t bad enough I also had books in a fabric storage drawer because of the amount of books I had. Even that was difficult to get to as well. Yes, it was neatly stored away in a corner, but I didn’t want it in a corner. I wanted it easily accessible! Boy, was I happy when Tidy Books decided to send me their Alphabet Bookcase in a lovely white color. If white is not your thing, they’re also available in natural, pink, and blue.

These award winning Tidy Books kid’s Bookcase and kids bookshelves makes books completely accessible; even the smallest child finds it easy to see and choose their books independently, because kids do judge a book by its cover! These slimline and stylish kid’s bookcases are a practical storage system that allows a large number of kid’s books to be displayed facing outwards.

Daddy is usually the one who puts everything together. Mommy and I went to sleep one night and woke up the next morning with our bookcase already set up. Mommy was a little upset because Daddy didn’t let her take photos of the parts that came in the box before it was done. Daddy apologized, but wanted you to know, my readers, that the setup was very simple and took him about 30 minutes. It does have a very slim profile, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my room. I was still able to fit my play table and bookcase together in the same place with no problem at all. Tidy Books suggests leaning the bookcase against the wall with a 5 cm gap at the bottom. You then use the included wall fasteners and screws to attach the bookcase to your wall. Easy peasy, as mommy would say.

Now, the fact that this attaches to the wall gives mommy and daddy real peace of mind. I’m a toddler, and I love climbing on everything. There are pictures floating around of me climbing on top of my dresser. Mommy is no longer concerned about me climbing on this and it tipping over with me because it is securely fastened to the wall. Besides the slimline profile, the Tidy Books Bookcase can also hold up to 85 books. That is quite a lot of books, which means I can keep on collecting my books.

It was nice having my bookcase all ready for me. I can now find my books a lot easier. Do you know how much easier it is to actually grab a book by just looking at it? Yes, us little ones do choose books by their covers and not by their spines. Tidy Books knew that! The Tidy Books Bookcase comes with 4 shelves that are all sized differently. After all, all books aren’t the same size. Another great thing that I loved about my Tidy Books Bookcase is that it comes with the alphabet listed on each shelf. They’re all raised, and I not only get to learn them but also the colors. What a great learning tool! Since I received my Tidy Books Bookcase, my love of reading has increased tenfold. I no longer need mommy’s help in choosing my books.

I am really in love with Tidy Books Bookcase. My books are not only more organized but it does make my room look so much better as well. No more books in the corner for me. Now I can use my fabric storage drawer for something totally different.
