With the holidays fast approaching there are is usually one item that is on most kids wish list. Well the ones that are into video games that is. There is always a request for a video game from my brothers for their birthdays and Christmas ALL the time. It is always on the top of their list. My youngest brother Mikael and my big sister Krxssy loves anything that involves race cars and so does daddy. Mommy not so much. When Mikael received Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver for his Nintendo 3DS he was over the moon. Here was two things that he loved combined together. Hot Wheels and a racing game. It doesn’t get any better than that! Well to him it didn’t. He couldn’t wait to get it open and begin to play. Hot Wheels Worlds Best Driver is also available for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC/Steam, Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS.

As with most handheld games you’re not going to get the visual graphics that you would get playing on your next-gen system on your TV. Although they weren’t that great the gameplay itself was really good. According to Mikael that is. He couldn’t stop playing. He played until mommy decided it was bed time and then decided that he was going to keep playing the next day as well. He wanted to be ahead of the team. He wanted to be on top of his game!

There are 4 teams in the game that you get to choose from. The Red Team (stunts), Blue Team (precision), Green Team (speed) and the Yellow Team (jumps). Each team has their own unique style which you need to master to become the World’s Best Driver. With 24 Hot Wheels cars to choose from you get to become the best of the best. You get to test your skill in speed, stunts and record setting jumps. You get to race at 4 Hot Wheels test facilities around the world. There’s a challenge here for everyone. Don’t think that because this is a “kids” game that adults can’t play. Some of the levels are very challenging even for adults but that is what makes Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver fun! The challenges are re-playable so so if you don’t make it you can always try again.

Does Mikael recommend Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver for the Nintendo 3DS. You bet he does. It gets his Two Big Thumbs Up! You can purchase your copy of Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver at Amazon, GameStop, Toys R Us or wherever video games are sold.
