Liz and Roo Baby Bedding #Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

I like quality products. I don't like things that most people have. I like to stand out from the crowd and that includes even my toddler bedding. When approached by the makers of Liz and Roo with an invitation to review their baby collection bedding, mommy first had to take a look. After all we had our very own go to designers. Mommy doesn't like the pretty cartoon characters and that's one of the reason you may never see my bed with a pattern from Disney or Nickelodeon. Our favorites include Pottery Barn Kids, Baby Doll and Jojo Designs. Not necessarily in that order. What mommy found when she visited Liz and Roo was bedding that was on par with our favorites that we loved. With that in mind mommy wanted to introduce them to you. After all why keep something so good to ourselves.

Get Flying With The Zike WingFlyer Z100 #Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.

All opinions are my own.

Today's review is going to be all Mikael. We haven't had a Big Kid Review in quite a while. Recently it has been all about me and although I love it that way, sometimes I do have to share the spotlight. While my big brother Kyle doesn't get to shine too often, my brother Mikael who is autistic has been with me a lot. He just celebrated his 9th birthday a few weeks ago so he thinks he's officially a big kid now.

When offered to review the Zike Wingflyer Z100 mommy thought Mikael would be the perfect person to review this. His sense of balance isn't often there and he gets occupational therapy at school. He seems to trip over his own feet and every time you hear a tumble down the stairs you know it's Mikael. Mommy says that Mikael can fall standing up which I really believe is true. I have seen it happen often enough and while its funny sometimes, sometimes he really does hurt himself. Now that isn't funny at all.

Lets Potty! The Potty Training Board Game #Review

Remember me saying that mommy and I have tried numerous items on our quest to conquer the mountain that is called potty training. When mommy was contacted by the makers of Lets Potty, she said "what do I have to lose?" and said yes. Mommy probably forgot that she had to ask me, Madison, if she was ready to do a review for another item that encourages me to use the potty. Maybe if mommy had asked me she may have found out that while I love playing games, I still have no interest in using the potty. Well my Let's Potty Board Game arrived and it was time to get busy.

I've worked with a LOT of companies and I have to say that the owners of Nic and Elli has been one of my favorites. We actually went back and forth via email for a while and she has kept in contact with me from the very beginning. Now talk about customer service! We were offered a choice of two of their diapers to try and review. When they found out that I was heading to Canada for my Christmas vacation, being a Canadian company, they decided to send me something extra special that I will share with you. Thank you Nic and Elli! I have been using it and intend to use it when I visit Canada.

Learn to Ride With the Strider PREbike ST-4 #Review

All opinions are my own.

I'm a girl but a very adventurous girl. Whatever the boys have I want to have as well. I want to be able to ride with my brothers by the time I'm 3 years old. When I say I want to ride, I mean without training wheels. When the good people at Strider Bike decided to send me their Strider Prebike ST-4 to review, it was my chance to become one of the big kids. My chance to ride with the big boys so to speak! According to Strider, If your toddler can walk, your toddler can ride a strider. You will never need a tricycle or training wheels ever! I couldn't wait to get my new pink bike and get on with my riding.

I'm a huge fan of dolls if you haven't seen by now by just reading my posts. I have them in all races and sizes. There is nothing quite like owning a new doll either. I have to say though that owning so many dolls does have its advantage as well. I'm always changing them out. I recently received the Nenuco Sleep With Me Baby Doll and Cradle from Famosa and it was a hit from the very beginning.

Normally mommy and I would take a lot of photos and post them with our reviews. Mommy decided that this time because I had so many opened toys that these were going to go under my tree for Christmas. Another reason is that there are quite a few pieces to put together. Think legos but cuter! That's the world of Pinypon.

We received both the Pinypon Snow Adventure Car & Tow and the PinyPon Ski Lodge.

This week is going to be one very busy week with Thanksgiving only a few days away. This week we are still featuring the number of methods that mommy and I have used during our potty training tribulation. Mommy calls it trials and tribulations because I still haven't gone on the potty. Now we tried this really innovative diaper that we highlighted yesterday and today is another feature. This time mommy went the natural route with me using a cloth diaper. bumGenius sent me two of their diapers for us to try during our potty training trial and here is my review on them.

RECARO Performance Ride Convertible Car Seat #Review #Giveaway

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.

All opinions are my own.

Mommy and I are serious when it comes to Car Seat Safety. It's no laughing matter! Mommy actually refuses to leave the driveway if everyone isn't buckled up. We have been known to just sit in the car until someone (usually my brothers) realize that they haven't buckled up, which is why the car isn't moving. When mommy and I were approved for the RECARO Blogger Program we couldn't have been happier. RECARO was actually the first brand mommy looked at when searching for a convertible car seat for me. She had actually ordered the RECARO Pro-Ride only to get an email from Amazon saying it was sold out. That's how popular they were. We ended up choosing another brand and while I was happy in it we still wanted a RECARO. Luckily for us we were sent the RECARO Performance Ride for a review and boy oh boy what a car seat it is!

Potty Train With Potty Patrol #Review

All opinions are my own.

If you have been following along on our blog for a while you may have read that mommy and I were struggling in the potty training department. This week we will be focusing on our trials of Potty Training and all the products we have used thus far. When mommy and I were contacted by Potty Patrol to review their product mommy without hesitation said yes. We have to admit that we have had it for quite a while now but didn't start using it until a few weeks ago. Mommy wanted to be sure that I was really ready. If you have been reading our blog for a while, you may also know that mommy really takes her time with these reviews. Mommy doesn't believe that using a product once makes for a good review. You don't get the full benefit as if using it all or for quite some time. We did a post a few months ago that highlighted the signs that your baby may be ready for the potty. Unfortunately for mommy the signs are there but I'm just not ready to go potty yet.

Walk the Runway in KidCuteTure

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

I consider myself to be a fashionista and I'm always looking for the next best thing. After all who likes looking like everyone else? I know I don't. That's why when I found KidCuteTure I know I just had to be wearing their designs. We're talking about one of a kind designs here. Nothing ordinary at all. Even their name was unique. It's couture for kids. The style is fresh but also comfortable. The best of both worlds if you ask me. Their clothing is also available in sizes 3m - 14y, after all little girls no matter how old they are need to be fashionable.

I had my choice of clothing from their fall/winter collection and I decided on the perfect outfit. I couldn't wait for KidCuteTure to send me their Gerbera Tunic and Leggings Set in Magenta in a size 2T. I'm generally a size 2T in most clothing but with KidCuteTure I noticed that it ran slightly bigger. No problem! It means that I get to wear my designer look just a little bit longer. Now the KidCuteTure outfits have this distinct rosette that is even more beautiful up close than it is in the photos.
On the day mommy and I decided that I was going to wear my outfit we had a snowfall. Now that didn't deter mommy from taking photos. I think the clothing looks really well against a snow backdrop as well. Don't you? My Tunic has a flare look to it which I loved. You can twirl around in it if you so desire. My leggings which were striped can also be worn without the tunic as well. Both pieces can be worn separately with different outfits. Truly versatile.

Now the material of my KidCuteTure tunic and legging set is made of a 95% cotton, 5% spandex blend. It is also machine washable. There's nothing worse than having baby/toddler clothing that needs to be dry-cleaned. With the way us little kids are with clothing, you need your washing machine on stand-by.

About KidCuteTure:

KidCuteTure is a mother-and-daughter team creating beautiful, imaginative and functional children's clothing crafted from the finest, machine-washable Peruvian cottons and cut in sizes 3 months to 14 years.

From its first collection, the company’s unique fashions have turned the kid's ready-to-wear market upside down with its daring collections of trend-setting sporty-lux dresses that demand attention and satisfy the creative taste. KidCuteTure is fast building a reputation for its inventive silhouettes crafted into modern fashions kids really want to wear.

In 2011, KidCuteTure also introduced a highly anticipated baby line called Kashka. The playful range of clothing and accessories for infants and toddlers, translates KidCuteTure signature look into whimsical collections for infant and toddler girls and boys.

Prices Vary - Recommended age: 3m - 14y

If you're looking for those truly unique pieces, something to set you apart from all the others then look no further than KidCuteTure. Be fashionable and runway-worthy wearing the best! KidCuteTure definitely gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!

LifeBankUSA Cord Banking Car Seat #Giveaway #Sponsored

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of LifebankUSA

There is not many things that mommy regrets, but not banking my cord blood is one of them. Mommy remembers reading the magazines at the doctors office. Reading all the information about it possibly saving my life later. She even went as far as researching it online but it was rather expensive at the time and still is today. With a household of six there isn't a lot of spare money to go around but still mommy regrets not doing it. Cord blood is used to treat certain cancers like Leukemia. With no-one in our family ever having cancer before mommy didn't think there was a need. Not too long after I was born my grandpa was diagnosed with that dreaded disease. Now you understand why mommy is full of regret. To help you become more aware of what cord blood banking is all about, mommy have teamed up with LifebankUSA to bring more awareness to Cord Blood Banking.

When Manhattan Toy decided to offer me Dr. Seuss Cindy Lou Who and Dr Seuss THE GRINCH in Santa Suit for the purpose of a review how could we say no! After all, what would Christmas be like without the Grinch? And where would the Grinch be without that loveable little girl who made his heart melt Cindy Lou Who? You can't have one without the other can you?

Vivitar Camelio CAM740 7-Inch 1 GB Tablet #Review

All opinions are my own.

My brothers and I love playing around with Mommy's iPad but unfortunately for us mommy doesn't like us using her electronics too often. Mommy thinks that her electronics are for her and we get to use them very sparingly. Not too much electronic time for us. When we were offered the opportunity to review the Camelio Tablet by Vivitar mommy jumped at the chance. She practically did a happy dance, I kid you not! Mikael had been asking for his own tablet for quite some time.

According to mommy and these are her exact words.."you will get one when pigs fly". I guess pigs must have started flying because Mikael now has his very own tablet in the form of the Vivitar Camelio. I swear I haven't seen one fly as yet but I'm sure they must be somewhere. After all it was the only way Mikael was going to get a tablet.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 10th Annual Thanks and Giving Campaign

Mommy is a huge supporter of the St. Jude Children Research Hospital. It's actually one of our charities and every year mommy donates to them. Want to know why? Mommy hates that C word. My grandpa died from it and mommy hates knowing that anyone has it. Especially little ones like me. The great thing about St. Jude's is that no child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay. Isn't that awesome? Their Thanks and Giving Campaign helps to make all of that possible. If you remember I recently did a post highlighting one of our shopping trips with mommy. On that trip we happened to pick up Teddy Rudy benefiting St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. We also bought one last year that now sits right along with Rudy. There is nothing better knowing that a purchase you made can help someone in dire need.

I know you've seen the commercial on TV and if you haven't maybe your kids have. I sure have and every time it comes on I just have to stop whatever I'm doing and watch it. I wanted to own one and so did my brother Mikael. Well he finally got his wish and got to try it before I did. When the company contacted mommy and I for a review of the Flipeez hat my brother Mikael was really happy. He was finally going to get his very own Flipeez hat, the one he has wanted for so long and the one mommy kept telling him that he wasn't getting. Yes mommy can be mean at times. Don't let her writing fool you. She does say no! Quite often at times too.

There is nothing I love better than taking a bath. Who doesn't like taking a bath? Well actually my brothers don't like it as much, mommy usually have to tell them to take one. Me on the other hand I just love taking baths! I love splashing in the water complete with bubbles. There always have to be bath toys in there as well though. Having a bath without toys is very boring to say the least. When Just Think Toys decided to send me their 20pc Floating Castle Set Bath Blocks I couldn't wait to try them. There are also cool sets for the boys as well so the boys can build right along in their tub too. Check out their 20pc Coast Guard Set!

Mommy and I are always searching for new and innovative products that makes everything easier for both parents and babies. Well toddler and big kids as well too. Sometimes we find them and sometimes they find us. When contacted by Bouche Baby to review their newest product the Take N' Shake Feeding Bottle, mommy was a little hesitant because after all I'm no longer a baby. I'm a big kid now! Then mommy thought, "hey even if Madison can't use it, there are other moms out there who would love to know about this great product". Just because this is "Growing Up Madison", I'm not entirely grown up yet and I do still care about my baby counterparts.

With the holiday fast approaching there are a few things that us little ones and of course the grown ups think about as well. Gifts! Now we all like receiving gifts but for us little ones according to mommy, there will only be gifts if we're on Santa's nice list.

So how do we figure out if we're on Santa's nice or naughty list? Well let me tell you! I figured it out. He actually writes to you all the way from the North Pole letting you know if you are. How do I know this? He sent my brother Mikael his very own letter. How awesome is that! He's not supposed to know that Santa sent him a letter but I promised not to tell him. You have to promise that you won't either.
