I love being outdoors. I’m one of those kids who think being cooped up in the house means that you’re in jail. It does feel that way too doesn’t it? The only time I really remained indoors was when our state had so much rain that it started flooding. I got lucky but some of the other residents weren’t so lucky. I was cooped up indoors like a chicken in a coop and even when the rain stopped I wasn’t allowed outdoors because I didn’t have the proper shoes. Luckily for me Bogs Footwear decided to send me a pair but I didn’t get it until after all the rain had stopped. Do you know what this means though? It now means that there’s no reason for mommy to keep me indoors any longer when it rains.

Bogs Footwear decided to send me a rain boot for my very own. There were so many to choose from but my sister Krxssy helped me choose. I got the Sweet Pea Classic for Kids. Even the name sounded sweet and I couldn’t wait to get it. Look at the detail on my shoes. Pretty isn’t it? It has these really cute pull handles making them easy to put on and take off. It’s also 10″ in height so my little vulnerable legs are safe from bugs and other insects when playing outdoors.

Now my Bogs Kids footwear is 100% water proof and is insulated with Bog Neo-Tech insulation. Mommy and I didn’t know what Neo-Tech insulation was so mommy googled it. According to Bogs it is a four-way stretch inner bootie for added warmth and comfort. They weren’t lying either when they said they were warm and comfortable. See the above picture? Mommy tried getting a good picture showing you how thick it is. It also has dura-fresh odor protection on the inside to fight any unwanted stinky odor. My feet doesn’t stink yet so I’m good.

My footwear is also made of very high quality vulcanized rubber. I can see this lasting for many years to come. No matter how much times I run up and down in them there will be no fear of me destroying these. The rubber outsole of my shoes has self cleaning thread and as you can also see has enough ridges so I won’t be slipping and sliding. There’s nothing worse than having a boot with a very smooth bottom.

Here’s the best thing about my boot. Do you see that -30°F? This means that my shoes has been rated for comfort at up to -30°F, not that I’m going to be outdoors in weather that cold but it’s great to know that its there if I need to be. So even though these are rain boots they are also cold weather boots and it really does keep you warm. Perfect for our cold weather we’re currently having.

I had so much fun running around in my new rain boots. They were perfect for my yard since it’s now become a jungle with my brothers not mowing the lawn. Nothing could stop me! Can I say once again that I love my Bog Kids Footwear?

Now Bogs Footwear isn’t just only for Kids although you can get them in infant size 4 all the way up to kids size 6. They also have shoes for Women, Men and the men even have an Industrial line of footwear. Perfect for those daddies who work outdoors. Perfect for me too and all the other kids who love playing outdoors.

Bogs just doesn’t just sell their shoes and do nothing else. No, no, no! They also give back to the community. Read all about the amazing things they have done in Bog Gives Back. Now that’s a company mommy and I endorse!
