Mommy and I recently received this DVD from Rock 'N Learn called Alphabet. Mommy always says that I'm never too young to learn so she was really excited for me to start viewing this.
Well mommy inserted it into our DVD player and it started up without having a menu so I got to get right into the fun of learning without having to wait. I just hate those DVD's that make you go through all the stuff THEY want you to see before you actually see what YOU want to see. This doesn't do that so a big thumbs up for that.
Now Rock 'N Learn's Alphabet is supposed to make it easy for me to learn my alphabet and it really does that. It not only shows you the upper case but also shows the lower case of the letter that you're learning. It reinforces my letter recognition skills so when I'm older and ready for school I would know them. How awesome is that?!
It's also a great vocabulary builder. For each letter there is 6 words that starts with that letter that was introduced to me and all with fun animations. I was really enthralled and actually sat down for the entire video which lasts approximately 35 minutes. I didn't understand it all but I sure loved the pretty animations and the songs.
There is a special bonus at the end of the DVD but I'm too little to do it but once I'm a little older I would sure enjoy doing it. I get to learn to print each capital and lowercase letter and I get to learn my numbers from 0 through 9.
This is a great video for all your little ones like me. While I was rocking away and learning my Alphabet, Rock 'N Learn's Alphabet DVD was awarded the Gold Winner for the 2013 National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) Children's products competition.
Rock 'N Learn not only has this Alphabet DVD but a vast collection of DVD's that will help your little one on their way to early learning. Rock N' Learn is offering all Growing Up Madison's readers a coupon code JQ7711 for 25% off to be used at RockNLearn.com.
Now here is a video excerpt of what I was learning.

ReplyDeleteYou always have cool giveaways. I would definitely want to try something like this. Lately, baby has been more responsive to learning from videos. He even tries to sound out words they spell on PBS shows :) He is 17 months but I bet he could group into this video
