Thomas and Friends: Santa's Little Engine DVD Review and Giveaway

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

The holidays are fast approaching and I can't wait for it to be here. I don't remember much of last Christmas because I wasn't quite a year old yet and I don't promise to remember much of this year either. I do know that there will be photos commemorating my Christmases and I can't wait to see them when I grow up.

Cozywoggle Review

All opinions are my own.

Every once in a while mommy and I find a really amazing product and we just have to share it with everyone. This product that we are going to introduce to you is one of them! This month is National Child Passenger Safety Month and you know by now that mommy and I are big advocates of Child Passenger Safety.

Mommy says that when I was a newborn that the hospital refused to let her take me out of the hospital until I was securely buckled into an infant car seat. Another thing that was not allowed was those nice cozy covers that most parents buy when the weather gets cold. Nothing should come between your little one, your harness and the car seat except light clothing. Mommy was told that only the shower cap style covers were allowed.

Graco Nautilus™ 3-in-1 Car Seat with Safety Surround™ Protection Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.

All opinions are my own.
September is National Child Passenger Safety Month and we recently partnered with Graco asking you my readers to take the Buckle Up For Safety pledge with Graco. For every pledge Graco will donate $1 to Safe Kids Worldwide until they reach their goal of 10,000 pledges! If you haven't taken the pledge I'm asking that you please do.

Mommy doesn't think that National Child Passenger Safety should only be recognized in one specific month. It should be recognized daily. Mommy does not move her vehicle out of the driveway unless we are all buckled up. No matter how short of a distance we are traveling.

Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

I love anything I can ride on. Anything I tell you. I'm very adventurous and think that I may need a name change. Madison just seems boring, I need a new name. Any ideas? When Prince Lionheart decided to send me their Wheely Bug to review I was super excited and couldn't wait for it to get to me. They actually gave me a choice of the size I wanted since the Wheely Bug comes in two distinct size. Small measures 15" L x 9" W x 8 3/4" H and is perfect for ages 18m+ and Large which measure 18 1/2" L x 11" W x 10 1/2" H and is great for ages 3yrs+.

Well I'm pretty tall for my age so mommy and I decided to go with the size Large and we were happy that we did. I am now 20 months old but I am also 35" tall and I weigh approximately 26lbs. If you're thinking about getting yourself a Wheely Bug for your toddler you may want to pay attention to that.

The Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug already comes set up so it's ready to ride. There is nothing worse than waiting for a toy to be put together while you sit patiently and wait. I hate waiting and I'm sure all my little friends does as well. The body of the Wheely Bug is pretty soft so my bum is nicely cushioned since the Wheely Bug is padded with a 1" layer of sponge. It is made of a very tough Polyurethane covering so it's very easy to clean. Although I'm not sure since I've become a really great artist if markers would be easily removed.

The base is made of wood and this rolls around on coaster wheels and goes in all directions. It goes backwards, forwards, sideways, you name it! You would think that it would be an issue riding it on carpet right? Well you're wrong! It works pretty well on a carpeted floor. I was able to ride it around my room where I was having fun until the party pooper mommy decided that it was time for dinner. It works even better in our kitchen where there's no carpet. I was able to zoom around there with no worries at all.

Now this is entirely non-toxic according to Prince Lionheart and contains no PVC. They are also pretty light. My large weighs 5lbs while the small weighs 4lbs. The greatest thing about this as well is that they can hold up to 50lbs. I am going to be riding this for a long time to come. It is now my favorite indoor toy. It really encourages my gross motor skills which I already have lots of and it sure is a lot of fun.

Mommy did a very short video showing you how easy it works on carpeted floors. Ignore my silly noises.

Now your hardest decision would be choosing which Wheely Bug you want your little one to ride. They are a must have for any little one this Christmas and we recommend getting one to go under your tree. Your little one will thank you!

Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!

You can purchase your very own Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug online at Amazon.com, BabyEarth.com, Diapers.com and Target.com.

Beatrix New York Review

Mommy and I were recently given the chance to review a product from Beatrix New York. Mommy is a New Yorker and so are my brothers and sister. I was the only one born in Colorado so every time mommy hears the word New York her eyes lights up. New York is known as one of the fashion capital of the world. If it's in fashion its in New York. Beatrix New York combines fashion and functionality for little ones like me. Yeah we can be fashionable too. They have a full range of products that I'm sure that your little one will love. Their products include little kid backpacks, big kid backpacks, lunch boxes, cuddly creatures, ipad cases and wheelie bags. School is already in session but its never to late to buy a new backpack right? May we recommend a Beatrix New York backpack?

Have a Sunshine Day: Award Time Again

It's Wednesday! The day that we usually showcase our Almost Wordless Wednesday post but today I want to showcase something totally different.

I was once again nominated for another award. Yes me Madison once again! This time I was nominated by Kristen of The Road to Domestication. I actually got nominated in the month of July but mommy and I have been so very busy that it got placed on the backburner.

Now if you've never read Kristen's blog you need to head over there right now and read her fabulous blog. She has these amazing recipes that you will surely want to make right away and there's always a tip about housekeeping and even some really cool free printables. Did I mention they're free! Go check out The Road to Domestication, I'll be right here waiting for you when you get back.

Now here are the rules for accepting this nomination:

  • Include award logo in a post or on your blog. - check
  • Link to the person who nominated you. - check
  • Answer 10 questions about yourself. Luckily there were no questions but feel free to ask your question in the comments. I'll be sure to answer them just for you.
  • Nominate 10 of my favorite bloggers to receive the award! Link my nominees to the post and comment on their blogs letting them know they've been nominated!

So without further ado, here goes:

Tamara Camera Blog - I love Tamara and I'm so going to marry her son Des. She has the most awesome photographs and I can't wait for her to photograph me. Not only are her photos beautiful but she writes the most eloquent blog posts and you don't ever want to leave. You have to check her out!!

Homemaking With Style - Brittnei might be a new blogger but she knows how to connect with her readers and if its one thing you want to do it's connect.

Foodie in WV - If you like to cook then you're going to love her blog. With some of the most delicious recipes I've seen all with some beautiful photos to match. Mommy and I love Ann!

Railroad Mama - Becky's DIY toys had me going back to her page. Mommy is not creative at all and this was so easy to do that it made mommy look like a genius which she is totally not. (Don't tell her I said that!)

From the Burbs to the Boonies Stephanie moved from a big town to a small town of less than 1k persons. Now we totally understand Stephanie because we moved from the City to the Burbs. Her posts with her son Brady are also a must read!

My Journey With Candida - Terri makes working out look like a breeze and mommy is so jealous. Read her amazing reviews all told with charm.

Diz Mommy - You'll fall in love with Dylan just like mommy and I have. Read all about her life with her baby boy and husband.

Masshole Mommy - If you're looking for crafts for your little ones look no further! You'll find more than crafts since there's always something exciting happening on Masshole Mommy.

My Tales With Two - Read all about her life with her boy/girl twins. I sometimes wish I was a twin but mommy says she's happy that I'm not.

The Deliberate Mom - We love reading her posts and if you haven't read her latest you've got to! Nelson Mandela actually helps her out in the kitchen. We want his help too, especially since mommy isn't that great of a cook.

Our Neck of the Woods - Another one of our new faves. If you've always wanted to live on a farm or something close to it then you will want to check out this blog. It was my first time seeing chickens up close and personal and I love them. I want to visit her home one day!

We were limited to 10 but mommy and I added an extra one. After all they were really bad rules!!

Now I hope you all had a great Wednesday!

Mosquitno Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

Mosquitos love me. When I say the love me they really do. I have a photo of me on my trip to the Caribbean last year where they gave me lots of kisses, at least that's what mommy calls them but they're no fun. Their kisses hurt and leave bumps all over wherever they touch me.

look at my poor face :(
Mosquitoes are very dangerous and carry deadly diseases, especially that dread West Nile Virus so I need to be careful. This year hasn't been any better where I live right now. It seems like there is no relief for me. Well that's what I thought. It has surely gotten better thanks to Mosquitno. Mosquitno decided to send me a few of their products. They even sent for mommy as well. Yes they're also for grownups. After all grownups get bitten as well.

For those who don't know about the Mosquitno company let me tell you a a bit about them. Mosquitno makes an all natural mosquito repellent that is great for the entire family. You know mommy doesn't like any yucky stuff on me so this is perfect for your little ones. This isn't a spray either. No, no spray for me.

Mosquitno Bandz and Spotz

This comes in wristband (Bandz) format and also stickers (Spotz). Pretty cool right? I bet you're wondering "how can wristbands and stickers protect me from mosquitoes?". Well let me tell you how it works.

The Bandz are made of a silicone rubber and is infused with all-natural, non-toxic and pleasant smelling citronella oil and completely DEET free.  They really smell great almost like lemons. The Bandz state that they're perfect for age 3+ (due to choking hazard) and because I have tiny hands they didn't fit me well so mommy decided to use the spotz. I'll tell you a bit more about the spotz in a second. The Bandz protect for 150hrs (6 days) and come in these really cool resealable packages so when you don't need them you can place them back in there for further use. They even say " hey, don't bite me please".

My Bandz doesn't fit my little wrist just right

Mommy and I really like the Spotz because the Spotz can be used on anything. The Spotz are also infused with Citronella. There are 6 in the package and you can place them on anything your child is wearing. These don't last as long as the Bandz but they are so adorable. These last 72hrs (3 days) but because they can be placed on anything these turned out to be our favorite. Can you see that Spotz on my shirt in that picture below, doesn't it look like it belong there? They can sure turn your favorite shirt, bag, hat etc into a masterpiece.
Yes that's a Spotz on my shirt.
These worked out great for me. As I mentioned before, I was getting bitten here where I live. Having a pool in the backyard that is not being used and that daddy has yet to empty is not helping either. There are always mosquitoes around and since wearing my Spotz they have certainly helped. They have kept the mosquitoes away and I'm so grateful for Mosquitno. Now I no longer worry about playing outdoors because I know I'm protected. Not only do they work great but they smell great too!

You can connect with Mosquitno via their Website and buy these amazing products and protect yourself and your little ones from those annoying mosquitoes. You can also connect with them via their Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube pages.

Mommy and I received the Lobo Life Accessories 2 in 1 Toddler Sheet for review and mommy and I can certainly say that this is the next best thing to sliced bread. Well those were mommy's words. I have no idea what that really means but apparently it means that this product is absolutely amazing. This came neatly packaged and folded and I couldn't wait for mommy to open it. I even loved the logo of that cute little wolf.

Well without further ado let me introduce you once again to my stinky brothers Mikael (8) and Kyle (12). Mommy is going to be doing this review for them. You get to hear mommy speak finally. I can't begin to say how excited I am about my Yochi Yochi shoes. When Yochi Yochi decided to send me a pair of their shoes for review I had no idea what to expect. I had never heard of them before but I took a look at their shoes and I fell in love instantly.

I'm a shoe connoisseur and I can never have enough. The more the merrier I say and this one goes to the top of my list. The great thing about Yochi Yochi is that they have a printable size chart so there was no mistaking the size I needed. Mommy printed it out and after sizing me we decided to get the Princess Sakura. I couldn't wait for Princess Sakura to arrive.

2 Red Hens Toy Nanny Review and Giveaway

Disclaimer: I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.

I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

Mommy and I recently received the Toy Nanny from 2 Red Hens and boy were we amazed. As you may know, I currently live in Colorado and we're having lots of rain so mommy and I weren't able to really test this outside but we know that if we did it would have worked like a charm.

I love making a mess, I really do! I hate to clean up after myself. Mommy sings that cleanup song and although I do it, I do it on my own time and after mommy has said to do it about a million times. I think mommy was happier to receive the Toy Nanny than I was. Sure I'm happy because now I don't have to do as much cleaning up but now mommy doesn't have to either.

The Toy Nanny is really simple to use. Once you get it out of the package you simply lay it flat wherever you want it and open. Perfect for outdoor play. We even loved the little button that keeps it closed when not in use. Such detail!

Mommy calls it her all in one toy bag - play mat - baby bag. It does it all! We tested it out in my room and here is what I have to say! The Toy Nanny makes cleanup super easy. Now mommy says that every time I play in my room it has to be on the Toy Nanny.

The outside that lays flat on the floor is completely water resistant so you have no fear of your little one getting wet while playing and also prevents spills from soaking through. It also has 8 pockets where you can store little things all secured by a velcro tab. Mommy decided to put a book and a few diapers in there. With 8 pockets your possibilities are endless.

The inside has soft velour so it's pretty comfortable as you can see. I enjoyed sitting on it and had lots of fun playing with my blocks. When I was finished the best part about this and the reason why mommy insists I play on my Toy Nanny is, it all folds up pretty easy. Everything stays inside and it looks like a bag. All you do is pull the straps together and voila you're done! Now all my toys are stored on the inside.

The 2 Red Hens Toy Nanny gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!!

The Toy Nanny is available in 5 custom-designed vintage-inspired patterns: Chevron Stripes, Grey Damask, Peacock Mum, Pink Lemonade and Owl Dots. Recommended retail: $50.

Here's a little tidbit about the 2 Red Hens Founder Lori:

Meet Lori Holliday, founder, idea girl, and resident 'Mama Hen' behind 2 Red Hens Studio; a modern day renaissance gal with knack for fashion and love of domesticity. Lori grew up in a huge family on a 1,000 acre farm in rural Arizona. She filled her days playing school, drawing pictures using every color in her 48-pack crayon box and organizing the house. Today, Lori incorporates that same philosophy into her design. 2 Red Hens offers beautiful things for Mom and Baby – from beautiful diaper bags made of fabric designed by Lori to one-of-a-kind Limited Edition bags made from reclaimed leather and innovative products that solve some problems, like the Toy Nanny and Bibby Mat. "Having kids has been my biggest test lab. Besides making things pretty, I try to develop product that helps make life a teeny bit easier, so Mom can focus on more important things – like spending time with Baby.
Look for 2 Red Hens founder Lori Holliday featured on the current issue of Where Women Create.

You can connect with 2 Red Hens via their Website, Twitter and Facebook pages.

Now here is the amazing part of this review. Now you mommies and you daddies too can enter to win your very own Toy Nanny. You can make cleaning up as easy as mommy and I. One of you my awesome reader will win your very own Toy Nanny. The giveaway is sponsored and will be delivered by 2 Red Hens and is opened to both US and Canadian Residents. Yay Canada gets in on the act too! Winner will be chosen by PunchTab and will have 48hrs to respond to the email sent from PunchTab or a new winner will be announced.

Costume Discounters Review

Disclaimer: I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.

All opinions are my own.

Halloween is coming, very soon I should say, before you know it the kids will all be out trick or treating. Guess what? I intend to be with them this year as well. Last year wasn't that much fun for me, I got to dress up but the trick or treating part was not for me. I wasn't a year old yet so I had to stay at home with mommy while other kids rang the doorbell and got their candy. I got to enjoy my very first piece of candy that day and I enjoyed it.

This year mommy decided to start her Halloween shopping early. Mommy hates shopping in stores, she hates the lines and she doesn't like the crowds. She also hates calling the store to find out if a costume is available and then getting there and it's sold out. Probably a trick to get you to the store so you will buy something else.

If your mommy is anything like my mommy then your mommy will like Costume Discounters. Costume Discounters is your one stop shopping for not only little ones like me but for the bigger kids like my brothers and the grownups like mommy and daddy as well. There are even costume for my pets too. Wouldn't that be cool dressing my pets up for Halloween? There is accessories and makeup, decorations and props, everything you can think of. Its your one stop shop and the best thing is that their low price is guaranteed all year round.

Well Costume Discounters offered to send me my very own Halloween Costume this year. Don't let that lowest price guaranteed fool you. Their costumes are really great quality. Mommy and I chose the Lalaloopsy Jewel Sparkle Deluxe Costume and we were amazed when we got it.  Ordering it was pretty easy and the shipping process was really fast as well.

Usually costumes will look great online and when you get them they're nothing like they say but this one wasn't. It actually looked great and I must say that I looked great wearing it as well. Now I look almost like Lalaloopsy. There are quite a lot of cartoon character costumes for your infant and toddler.

Now Costumes Discounters doesn't just cater to Halloween. They're open all year round and you can find something for every holiday. Costume Discounters is currently offering a 20% off promotion and there's even free shipping on your order of $60 or more. What's even better is that they ship internationally too. Don't wait until the last minute get your costume now!

About Costume Discounters:
Cheap Halloween costumes is the name of the game here at Costume Discounters. Our Incredible Lowest Price Guarantee ensures you'll get exceptional value when you buy your costume for Halloween or other occasion. Costume Discounters brings you the latest and best costumes at the lowest prices...all year round. From Halloween costumes, kids costumes, toddler costumes, adult costumes. We will make sure you can have costume fun and save all year round!
You will be amazed that saving big at Costume Discounters does not mean you have fewer choices to buy costumes. Making it the best online halloween costume store for shoppers in search of good value.

I'm still in the process of potty training and mommy and I are not having such great results. Maybe it's because mommy thinks I'm ready and I really don't think I am. Mommy knows best right? In this case Madison knows best!

Guess the fine people at Pampers must also know that Madison knows what's best for her so they decided to send me an entire box of their Pampers Swaddlers Diapers. Now I know most of you know the Pampers brand. It's actually one of the few brands that I've used since the day I was born.

She makes me laugh and I can't believe that she's going to be gone soon. It's my big sister Krxssy! You've already met my brothers so now you get a chance to meet my sister.
