Groove Kid Nation: Rhythm Bears Review

Disclaimer: I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review. I was not paid in any way to write this review. All opinions are my own.

I’m a big fan of music! It doesn’t matter what kind of music, if there’s a beat I’ll dance to it so I was very excited to receive Groove Kid Nation: Rhythm Bears to review.

Ok I admit when I saw the CD when it came in the mail I thought that it was the usual music that I’m accustomed to listening to. Was I in for a very pleasant surprise.

The music is nothing that you’re accustomed to at all. It’s more a funky, jazzy, blues kind of music and I am pleased to say that I loved it. I may not be able to follow all the instructions with the songs but I was sure able to dance along to it.

There were instruments on the album that I got to know. My brothers plays the keyboard and the trombone so I knew a little about those but here I was being introduced to the Clarinet and the Banjo and a few other instruments I have never heard of before.

I loved the little booklet that came along with the CD that tells me who were on what instruments and introduced the Rhythm Bears to me. Here’s one of my favorite. Kalimba playing the Kalimba. Did you know what a Kalimba was? I sure didn’t. I had to look it up. A Kalimba is actually a type of African thumb piano.

You can get check out the Rhythm Bears on their Website: GrooveKidNation.com where there are resources for parents and children via videos, free coloring book downloads, articles and even a “buyers guide to the best musical instrument for kids under age 5”.

Also 10% of the price of Rhythm Bears will be donated to CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting poverty.

Not only will your little ones be learning and having fun but you will be helping out a great cause as well.

I loved Groove Kid Nation Rhythm Bears. Not only are the music fun and make me want to dance but I get a lesson on instruments as well. I give Groove Kid Nation Rhythm Bears Two Tiny Thumbs up.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
