5 Easy Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy All Year Long ~ #LifestixENTCare

Today I want to introduce you to something that we've been using for the past few weeks: Lifestix E.N.T. Care. It's a probiotic, and it's something completely different than what we've ever tried in the past, and we love it!

This post is sponsored by Lifestix, however, all opinions are mine alone.

Just recently Madison came home from school complaining that almost all the kids in her class were sick, and even the teachers were getting sick because "the kids don't cover their coughs". They're supposed to sneeze and cough into their elbow, but according to Madison, they weren't doing that. Normally when there's a classroom of sick kiddos, I would always assume that very soon my own kids would come home with some dreaded illness as well, but since we have all been taking Lifestix E.N.T Care probiotics, there has been no sign of sickness in our home. Our immune systems have been working overtime to keep us well. Hip-hip-hooray!

Lifestix E.N.T. Care is a recently launched oral probiotic that is absolutely amazing for ages 2 to infinity. While most probiotics focus on the gut, Lifestix E.N.T. Care focuses on guarding the immune system’s gateway: the oral cavity. It is also one of the easiest to take and is just delicious, according to Madison, and when Madison says something is delicious, you've got to believe her since she's one of my pickiest eaters. I would usually have to bribe her to ingest anything, but she asks for this daily.

Lifestix E.N.T Care comes in strawberry flavored packets that you simply open and pour into your mouth (just look at those tiny strawberry flavored granules making its way into Madison's mouth) and the beneficial bacteria will populate your ear, nose and throat and provide the best protection from bad bugs trying to get you down. They never need to be refrigerated and can be taken at any time and anywhere. They're portable and you can keep a few in your handbag or even in your car. I'm telling you, we're obsessed with these things!

So how can you keep your family healthy all year long? Here are 5 easy ways.

1. Drink lots of water
I've said it numerous times before, and I'm going to say it again. DRINK LOTS OF WATER! You should really be drinking at least eight glasses a day. Drinking water not only keeps your body hydrated, it also aids with clear skin and digestion issues. If you've been suffering with skin problems, drinking water can help to flush toxins out of your body.

2. Exercise Regularly
Madison has been my inspiration all year long. No matter what the weather is like, be it sun, rain or snow, Madison insists on going outside to "play', which is her own form of exercise. Exercising doesn't have to be elaborate or hours spent in the gym, it can be as simple as taking a brisk walk around the neighborhood.

3. Eat more fruits and veggies
This year we made an active pact to start eating healthier. One of the ways we've decided to go healthier was by eating more fruits and veggies. Lately there have been talks that meat is no longer as essential as we thought it was. You can get your vitamins, fiber, minerals and even antioxidants from eating a variety of fruits and veggies, and you should aim to eat at least 2 servings of both each day.

4. Get a good night sleep
Sleep is usually the thing that eludes us most. As we get older we tend to sleep less. We get caught up with binging our favorite TV shows and social network that we sleep less and less, but we do need sleep for our wellbeing and to keep us healthy. While adults need at least 7hrs of sleep, children should get significantly more. Our body needs rest to recharge, repair tissue and generally rejuvenate our brains.

5. Take a probiotic daily
Probiotics are essential to your health and our immune system. Did you know that our gut is the largest immune organ in your body? That means that the majority of our immune system can be found in our gut. That's why it makes a lot of sense to keep our digestive system as healthy as possible since it's essential to our overall health and wellbeing. Taking a daily probiotic is one of the easiest ways to support your immune system, and including Lifestix E.N.T Care to your daily routine will give your family a healthy head start this year and beyond.

Just take a look at the video below of how Lifestix E.N.T Care works.

So keep your family healthy all year round and pick up a box of Lifestix E.N.T Care at your local Walgreens. You can register on Lifestix's website and receive a coupon for $3 off your purchase.

    1. Oh my goodness, I can't even begin to imagine what pain he went through. Madison had her first ear infection last year and it was horrible. You should pick some up for the family for sure.

  2. I need to find this and try with my family now, too. As I agree this winter the illnesses seem to be everywhere and really do want to try to keep us as healthy as possible. So thanks for sharing! :)

    1. You really should, but make sure you get that $3 coupon first. The kids and even yourself will love it. I sure do. It beats taking a pill or those sometimes not so great tasting beverages.

  3. I need to get a military supply of these Lifestix. We've managed to avoid most of the major flu season horror, but you can never have too many weapons in your arsenal!

    1. You really can't! We've avoided so far this year and we're hoping that it never arrives. Thanks to Lifestix we're on our way.

  4. It's tough when the kids get sick and I expect pretty much the same thing when they tell me that the kids are all getting sick in school. I think it's nice to have that extra protection to help them fight off the usual viruses that spread fast. That Lifestix is awesome and I love that it's easy for the kids to ingest since it tastes really good.

  8. I agree with these tips and realize I don't give William a probiotic. He is so fussy with textures, so this might be a good idea for him. I am so glad he doesn't get sick often, especially being home schooled.

    1. Being homeschooled can help, but you still need that added protection for when you're outdoors. I think William would love Lifestix, and so you will. Remember, it's for the entire family from ages 2+.

  9. All easy enough to do! There have been so many illnesses going around my kids' schools.

  10. It's funny because I have a great immune system (knock on wood) but I don't really do any of those things, EXCEPT, #5. So I'm on the right track, I hope!
Scarlet and Des recently started taking daily probiotics. The season calls for it more than ever!

  11. I have to admit I've not heard of Lifestix before, but as my health isn't the best they sound like something that my system could really do with the boost from!

  12. I currently take a probiotic for gut and female health reasons. I might have to try these, though, to keep colds at bay for both me and my husband!

  13. Such great tips! We have had our fair share of sickness in our house so anything I can do to help and prevent I will! I’m sick right now myself! - Jeanine

  14. As a teacher, I try as much as I can to prevent my whole class from getting sick! It's impossible to do so, if you don't have the right protection to help prevent the kids from getting the virus. I think Lifestix is a must have at home. I'd love to recommend it to parents.

  15. I need to work on more sleep. This is great, going to look at closely. My doctor recently suggested a probiotic for me but if the whole family can take it, even better

  22. Wow, I feel like our family need it too. My kids are prone to common colds and flu. And it's just hard to prevent them because they are viral. But thank you for sharing this. I had no idea that there is a kind of probiotic that is better than other brands.
