4 Easy Ways You Can Honor Mom This Mother's Day - #ImJustLikeHer

Honor Mom This Mother's Day with Teleflora's Handmade Bouquets.

Growing up I heard it often enough, "you're just like your mother". Not only did I look like my mother, but my mannerism was very much like mother. While I didn't consider myself quite "like" my mother, I had to admit to myself as I got older, that there are quite a lot that I do that is very much like my mother, and I'm not ashamed to say it. This is going to be my 2nd Mother's Day without my mother, but she still plays a role in my life. Her teachings has remained with me and it's because of her that I'm able to be the best mother that I can be with my very own children. There is no-one quite like a mother, and today I want to share with you a few ways that you can celebrate and honor your own mother. Remember, mom won't always be there.

Breakfast in Bed
For all the time that mom has made you breakfast, today is her big day. Start off the day with a bang with breakfast in bed. Go all out and don't skimp on the bacon, mom loves it! Don't forget the coffee and fruit.

Clean Up
Have no idea how mom does it all? Then how about doing it for the day. Take control and clean the house. Do the dishes, the laundry and sweep and mop. If you would prefer not do manual labor, you can hire a cleaner for the day. Mom would appreciate it.

Take Mom to Dinner
It's still her day and while breakfast was delicious, having someone cook dinner instead would mean the world. That way there are no dishes for mom to do the next day or that night. Take her out and have her choose whatever she wants. It's the least you can do for her preparing you dinner all these years.

Send a Bouquet of Flowers
Whether you live far away or you live near by, nothing says "I love and care for you mom" like a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and no-one does bouquets quite like Teleflora. Honor mom with a handmade Teleflora bouquet that's as beautiful and radiant as she is. Teleflora's handmade boquets are made with love and are the perfect way to commemorate all those unique similarities that you share with mom.

These two New Mother's Day floral arrangements are perfect for moms and arrive in keepsake containers.

Sparkle and Shine Bouquet
This show-stopping bouquet is chic and modern, just like mom and is a perfect reflection of her effervescent beauty; inside and out. Gorgeous pink roses, fragrant white Asiatic lilies and lavender look oh-so-lovely in this one-of-a-kind purple metallic glazed vase with sparkling rhinestones that is sure to dazzle her.

Dancing Violets Bouquet
I have to admit that this is my favorite bouquet. While I had the choice to choose, I chose this one, not just because it has my signature purple colors, but it just looks so vibrant and fun, just like mom. This bouquet lights up the room and is filled with lavender and white daisy spray chrysanthemums, purple carnations, and a medley of other floral accents. It's displayed in a purple glass cube with a pretty pressed violet design.

In honor of moms everywhere this Mother's Day, Teleflora wants to share this "Just Like Her" video that makes mom so special, and commemorates our connection to her by illuminating all of the ways that we're "just like her".  Let's take a moment to thank mom for her strength, determination, courage, perseverance, and infinite love that inspires us every day through life’s best and most challenging moments.

In what ways are you just like your mom and how will you be celebrating Mother's Day?

Today, one lucky reader will have the chance to win a $75 Gift Code to Teleflora, so they can order a bouquet for their own mom, showing them how special they are. 1. I think I will!
My mom is four hours away which seems long, but it isn't bad. And I think I take for granted our time because I think she'll always be around. Just like how her parents lived to 100! Making her feel special is a pretty big deal. She raised five kids!!

  3. I would always send my mom a gift and a wrist corsage to wear to church on Mother's Day. I rarely got to visit her on this special day since she lived so far away. This year I'll be honoring her by placing flowers in our church in memory of my mom.

  4. Mother's Day is going to be special this year. My sisters, kids, grandkids, dad and step mom, are all coming from out of state and all over so we can take mom out and just spend Mother's Day with her which is what she wants. I've bought her some gifts but haven't thought about the fact that she's love flowers. She lives alone and I think they would brighten her life up.
