5 Things to Do With Your Kids This Spring - #FieldsOfFun

Spring is in the air? Can you believe it? Just a few weeks ago we were experiencing winter and now I'm thinking about spring cleaning. Also just a few weeks ago, Madison was 4 years old and now she's 5. Where did the time go? When did my baby grow up? While I'm happy that she's getting older, wiser and also taller, it also means that it's time for a wardrobe refresh. After all, a new season usually means new clothes. I also have to think about what I'll be doing with her once spring break begins. New clothes and activities? Where do I begin? Luckily for me, I knew just where to go. OshKosh B'Gosh is usually my go to store when it's time for wardrobe refreshes and not only are the clothing practical but they're also age appropriate. Today I want to share with you 5 things you should do with your kids this spring.

With the weather warming up during spring, I much prefer my kids to be outdoors. After all, spring and the great outdoors just seem to go hand in hand. After spending most of your winter indoors, it's time go out and show off those bright colors. I'm one for putting Madison in bright colors that reminds me of Spring. Lovely pinks and pastels, after all Easter is also in spring and we all know what comes along with Easter. So here's my first thing to do with your kids this spring.

1. Easter Egg Hunt
There are lots of places that host this family event and a quick Google search will alert you to your closest one. If you would prefer, you can even host your own with your family. The kids will have fun decorating the eggs, and finding them will be a treat. Join in the hunt and make it a family event.

2. Have A Picnic
You don't need to travel far to have a picnic, you can have a picnic right there in your own backyard. Lay a blanket on the ground and pack your favorite finger foods and kid friendly snacks, play some music and have some games on hand. How about blowing some bubbles? That's always fun!

3. Fly a Kite
Now who doesn't like flying kites? I know that I do, and so do my kids. On a windy day get those kites out and start flying them in the sky. You can even get competitive and the one whose kite goes the highest wins. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of friendly competition.

4. Ride a Bike
Kids love riding bikes and this spring may even be the time where they may want to get rid of those training wheels. Get your bike out as well and go on a ride together. This will not only be fun, but is a great form of exercise for everyone involved.

5. Take a Trip
You don't have to plan an expensive trip/vacation. You can take a trip right there in your own hometown. Most of us have yet to discover our own states and there is usually so much to do. Take a quick trip in your car and visit your local zoos or museum. Or if you do have the time and the money, visit a neighboring state. It will not only be fun but you can make it educational as well.

When it comes to kids' spring activities, you want your kids to be comfortable, but what about fashionable? Comfort and fashion go hand in hand at OshKosh B'Gosh, and right now they have just what you need for your little one's spring wardrobe refresh. What's good to know is that they also now go up to size 14! I have been shopping at OshKosh B'Gosh for the past 20 years and have never EVER been disappointed, and you won't be either.

It is so easy to mix and match OshKosh B'Gosh pieces. From tees and tanks, shorts and pants, OshKosh B'Gosh have it all. They also have accessories too. Madison just LOVED her sunglasses! So get spring ready and start your wardrobe refresh today. To get you started on your kids spring wardrobe, we have a coupon just for you! Use Online code: OKBG3270 or 036602 In Store for 25% off your $40 purchase. You can also click on the photo below to print and take in store. 2. Your daughter is too adorable and I adore her clothes! I really wish that I lived in the US to take advantage of this offer! I cannot wait for spring to get here. We are in this weird Canadian winter/spring limbo. We call it Spinter. So we have rain and snow mix. So we can almost do those fun things like go out in nature. Almost! Getting there!

  3. Your daughter is adorable! Her outfits are so cute too and perfect for spring. My grandsons are all playing baseball now that spring is right around the corner, so I'm at a different game most nights. I wouldn't have it any other way.

  4. We really don't have plans other than getting out and seeing nature wake up for the spring. We live in Georgia, so there's no shortage of beautiful scenery.

  5. Every single one of these are great ideas. Key is to get outside and enjoy the weather and what mother nature has to offer. We could go to the park, have a picnic, fly a kite, feed the ducks all in one day.

  6. The smell of spring and new beginnings.

  7. Your daughter is so adorable! I love how she models the clothes like she's a little professional model. I like the places that you suggested to go with a child. I love the fact that none of them have to do a screen time.

  8. My favorite thing about spring is the warm weather! I'm not a cold weather person, so when it starts to get nice outside, I get excited.

  17. While we've never flown a kite (why?!) we definitely do a road trip and an Easter Egg Hunt a year. I REALLY love spring, but it's sorta weird in New England. I know it was in the tri-state area too, but it's so blustery and muddy here. We really get things going in May. I love your photos!

  18. Loving the Oshkosh brand! And I must add that I love her purple hair and sunglasses... My daughter wants to die her hair purple or pink (waiting for her to tell me when...) I love Spring time and I can't wait to mark some of those activities down once we do them... great list!
