Perfume for Toddlers - M. Micallef’s Baby’s Collection

If you have a little girl, there's the chance that she just loves everything that you do and want to be just like you. She wants to put your shoes on, try on your clothing and even play around in your makeup. Whenever I'm getting ready to go out, Madison always makes sure to get into my room to have some of my special perfume sprayed on her clothing. I don't spray it directly onto her skin, because it's not made for her. Not only are the fragrances sometimes a little too strong, but they all contain alcohol as well. Now I don't mind babies smelling like babies, but sometimes for a special occasion, I do like her having a nice fragrance when we're going out somewhere special, and we're all dressed up. I've been searching around for quite some time for something made just for her and I have to say that I have finally found it. Introducing Perfume for Toddlers - the M. Micallef's Baby's Collection.

Here's a little history of M. Micallef.
They were founded in 1996 and is now a signature in the world of high-end luxury perfumes. They are distributed in 60 countries and sold in over 900 sales outlets. The whole concept of the brand is based on the encounter between two beings. Geoffrey Nejman, who is the nose of the company and Martine Micallef, the soul and creator. Driven by their love and passion, and carried by their artistic sensibility, they decided to design together unique fragrances made of rare and noble materials, preserved in remarkable hand-decorated bottles in their ateliers in Grasse.
Just in case you're wondering, they do ship worldwide, so shipping to the US is no problem!

Now on to the delightful fragrances that is the M. Micallef's Baby's Collection. The baby's collection was inspired by Martine Micallef's grandchildren's birth and was launched this month. Since these were made just for toddlers, they were designed with their sensitive nose in mind. Made with alcohol free water, there are three 30ml scents included. The Petit Coeur,  Tendre Douceur, and Petite Fleur (shown from left to right above). They also come accompanied by a little rabbit plush named Harry.

Now here's a bit about the fragrances and the one thing that I was impressed by, is that the you can truly smell the notes in the fragrances. The Petit Coeur has hints of lemon, mint and bergamot notes. Madison when I sprayed this on her said "it smells like mint" and it really does.

The Tendre Douceur has notes of cherry and candy apple and Madison thought that it smelled like strawberry. This was by far her favorite and I don't blame her. Who doesn't want to smell like cherries and candy apples. Especially in the summer.

The Petite Fleur has notes of orange blossoms and Madison said "this smells like oranges", and she was absolutely correct. Without even knowing what the notes are, your child will be able to distinguish the notes for themselves.

Madison just loves now knowing that she has her very own special perfume. One that is made just for her and is gentle enough for me to spray directly on her skin, although I still spray it on her clothing. So far I've noticed no staining and the smells are fabulous! The fragrance also lasts quite a while, although I wouldn't say that they last all day, but I still have yet to meet a fragrance that really does. The scents are mild enough to still have your little one smell like a baby, but with a more "grown up" smell. With no alcohol included in these toddler perfumes you'll feel good applying it to your little one. So if you're still in the market for something special for your little one, something to make her feel more grown up like mommy, consider getting her the M. Micallef's Baby's Collection perfume for toddlers. She'll love you even more than she does now!

Let's discuss: What do you think of toddlers having their own alcohol free perfume?

Here are the ways to connect with M.Micaleff:

    1. That is so true and best of all they smell amazing, just like mom's.

  2. I can already see my daughter trying to do everything that I do. I secretly hope she will be a girly girl! LOL I didn't even know there was such a thing as alcohol free perfume for toddlers. I think it's a great idea.

    1. With a big brother, I'm expecting a little tomboy until she gets older. That's what happened in my family but she can totally be a girly girl from the get go.

  3. I am not a mother to a girl and with that being said, I think this is pretty awesome. As mother's we allow our children to do things we do every now and then. Now I have a son, so it's a bit different. Being a mom to girl means she wants to do everything like you, which you said. I think this is great for a child to do things like her mother but using her own product.

It also can be a goon incentive to keep up with person hygiene. If she wants to smell good, she can learn that staying clean and a little special perfume will do the trick to always smelling nice!! <3

    1. It really is and to be honest, I don't see any little boys using this but I do wish that they would make a set for boys. That would be awesome. After all little boys need to smell good too.

  4. The M. Micallef's Baby's Collection perfume for toddlers sounds so lovely. I love the packaging. I remember always wanting to wear my moms perfume when I was a kid, it would have been so fun to have some of my own.

    1. Wouldn't it? I use to steal my mom's perfume when I was growing up too, now my daughter gets to experience her own and they smell AH-MAZING!

  5. Oh my I have two girls ages 8 & 6 who would love these! I don't use perfume I tend to be sensitive to them, so I use Bath & Body Works Body Spray...so I like how they took into consideration little one's sensitive noses and those who might have allergies, so these could even work for me! And I LOVE how they didn't go cheap on the style and design. I hate when companies design product for kids and then make them look so unappealing, kids like to have nice and fancy products too...even if you have to keep it in your bathroom when they go to use it they feel extra special! And awww that bunny! He looks so soft!!

    1. Oh yes they would most certainly work for you and the bunny does give it an extra special touch doesn't it? They smell really amazing too!

  6. I had never heard of a perfume for babies! My little girl is still only 7 months old, so a little too young, but if she wanted to do something like mom when she was a little older, I would definitely be all for this!

    1. Well it's not really for "babies" but more toddlers although I can see some parents using it on their babies. Its alcohol free so safe to use. It's scented water but they're amazing!

  8. I love the idea of perfumes just for toddlers and that they don't contain alcohol. I remember my girls dressing up in my clothes and shoes and spritzing my perfume into the air and walking through it. Great memories!

    Replies
    1. Oh don't you just love those memories. Well now they won't have any need to walk through it because they could have had their very own. Maybe they'll get some for their own daughters when they do have them.

  9. I think it is great that toddlers/kids can have their own perfume made for their sensitive skin in mind. I think I would love the cherry and candy apple scent myself!

  13. Interesting idea about toddler perfume! I dont think toddlers need perfume, but for those princess moments, this would make better sense than using stronger adult perfume. Clever!

  14. My daughter always wanted to use my body sprays when she was little. I didn't let her often, but every once in a while for special occasions I did. She would have loved having this fancy perfume of her own for special occasions.

  15. I have a toddler granddaughter and I just can't see her being ready for any kind of perfume.

    1. Why not? And while it's labeled perfume because they smell amazing, they're actually "scented water" since they don't contain alcohol like our perfume does.

  19. What a cute idea, I don't think I would give my little girl perfume. I never did until she hit about maybe 12?! She's almost 14 now and sometimes wears mine. I do think it's cute but not sure I would have done it back then for my kiddos.

    1. Well that's understandable but I do with mine and she just loves it.

  20. I don't have any kids, so I am not sure if I would give this to a little girl if I had one. I love the colorful packaging though, looks like a little one would enjoy it!

    1. Oh I did the same thing and Madison is at the age where she loves to ask me for perfume when we're going out so it's nice that she has her own.

  23. I think it is a good option for those who want to be like Mama. The scents sound lovely and the bottle and rabbit pair is too cute. It is a grand way to teach a young girl about 'making herself up' in a gentle way as well as teaching the gift of minimalism. I can totally see a little one pouring the whole bottle on so she can 'smell pretty'. It might be a lovely gift for a 5 year old entering the 'big girl' world.
