Kohl’s Cares Features Leo Lionni for Spring 2016

One of the surprises that awaited us on our return trip from New York City this past weekend was a care package from the Kohl's Cares team. And boy what a surprise it was. I just love the Kohls Cares program and the Spring 2016 collection doesn't disappoint. Not only do they make amazing gifts or even collectibles  for those who collect these sort of things, but they also help out a cause that is dear to my heart. Each purchase that you make either online at Kohls.com or in store, 100%, not 50, or 10, or even 90, 100% of that purchase goes towards supporting health and education for children nationwide. I truly believe that each child deserve a good education and healthcare, the two most important thing, after food, clothing and shelter of course. The great thing about the Kohls Cares collection is that it doesn't even break your pocket. For the cost of 1 cup of venti designer frapp you can help with a child's education and get something in return that you can in turn give to a child of your choice. I call that a win-win!

The spring collection which features award winning books from renowned author/illustrator Leo Lionni are a must have in any child's book collection. The playful and artistic story books and complementing accessories are priced at only $5. Books and accessories featured in the Kohl’s Cares collection this spring include:

Frederick book and mouse soft toy

A Color of His Own book and chameleon soft toy

It's Mine! book and frog soft toy

Cornelius book and crocodile soft toy

Swimmy book

Tote bag

101 Kids Activities book

The Kohl's Care Spring 2016 collection is available now and through early April so if you haven't gotten yours as yet, I would suggest taking a quick trip to your local Kohls and pick up your favorite. Or even pick them all up. Remember that all proceeds supports porgrams that benefit children's health and education nationwide. These Kohls Cares merchandise makes great gifts and if you have little ones in your life, they will appreciate a good book and a plush to go along with it. For the moms the tote is awesome and don't forget the activity book.  To find out more about Kohl's Cares, visit Kohls.com/Cares.

  11. I think Kohls Cares is one of the coolest things a company does to be constantly giving back. I used to work there in high school and loved to sell the little plush tops and corresponding books. - Katy
