Introducing Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin Sara

When it comes to owning dolls I can never have enough of them. I have them in all different shades of me as I like to say and quite a number of them do different things as well. What I love most about dolls is that they give me the opportunity to take care of another little person without me actually taking care of a real live little person. After all who would trust me, a 3 year old, to take care of another human being. I do however like when I get a new doll and it's truly interactive such as the Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin Sara that I'm going to be sharing with you today. This doll does come in the African-American version which I got but you can also get her in Brunette and Blonde as well. She retails at $49.99 and is recommended for ages 3+.

Snackin Sara comes with everything that you'll need for snack time which includes a plate, a pretend juice box, 2 1oz container of reusable play food (playdoh will work just as well), 3 shaping tools and 1 roller. She also comes with her outfit ready for play and 2 diapers. After she is a baby and babies need diapers. This is how I know that I'm now a big girl, I no longer need or wear diapers but I do however enjoy snack time. Hasbro has made playing right out of the box super easy by making the packaging easy to open so you won't be there fighting to open the box. She also comes with batteries so you can get right on playing.

Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin Sara can be used in both Spanish and English modes which is activated by a switch in the back right above her battery pack. To get her in play mode you squeeze the bracelet on her arm and she starts talking to you. She lets you know when she's hungry and sleepy and even when she needs to be changed. Her mouth is animated so it looks like she's actually talking to you.

I had a lot of fun making pretend food for her by using the cut out shapes and then feeding it to her. Here's something to be aware of. Snackin Sara recognizes when she's not sitting upright and will tell you that she can't eat laying down. She also recognizes when she's being rocked and will let you know that she's sleepy. Feeding her is such a treat to behold because she actually snacks on the food. When she's done and she tells you that she needs to be changed by saying "I did a stinky, I need to be changed". She might even sniff and say "Stinkeroo! I need to be changed". She'll leave a nice surprise in her diaper for you. Her pretend juice is just that, pretend, so it won't be wet, don't worry.

Hearing Sara talk and tell you that "I Love You Mommy" is the best. It also reiterates that I need to also tell my mommy that I love her too. She loves playing Peek-A-Boo and giggles just like I do.  Yes I do giggle just not in photos. One more thing to note is that she does have an auto shut off to conserve battery life but she does require 3AA batteries when the life is depleted.

Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin Sara will make a great gift and should be on your Holiday Toy List. She has gotten lots of play time with me and I'm sure she will with you as well. She totally gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP! She can be purchased at most major toy stores including Amazon.

Let's discuss: What would make you buy Baby Alive Super Snacks Snackin Sara for a little girl in your life?
