Candy Cane Rice Krispie Treats

There is nothing that the family loves more than rice krispie treats. It’s one treat that takes only minutes to make and there is so much you can do with them. All it takes is a cookie cutter and your imagination. While we also love candy canes, like hanging them on the tree, they don’t last too long. The kids eat them before Christmas has arrived and while that’s fine and dandy there is a great way to combine the two. How about making them some delicious Candy Cane Rice Krispie Treat? Now they can satisfy their sweet tooth and kids just love eating what they’ve made and they’re going to love making these.

Here is what you’ll need:

*Makes 8 servings. 1 Treat = 1 serving.



Ingredients:

1 8 ct box of Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats

Wilton red decorating icing

Wilton white decorating icing

Small candy cane cookie cutter

**Plastic Wilton icing tips – these are located right next to the tubes of frosting.


Directions:

#1. Cut all your Rice Krispie Treats into a candy cane shape. If you cannot find a cookie cutter big enough simply use a knife and cut the shape out.

#2. Place a small tip on the white frosting tube and give your candy cane a few white sections by gently squeezing the tube and going back and forth on the candy candy (see photo).

Repeat with all the treats and set aside.

#3. Wash the basic tip out and put it on the red frosting and fill in the black areas with red (see photo).

Voila! Super easy and super CUTE candy cane Rice Krispie treats!
