SoCozy Haircare Products for Kids

Disclaimer: I received products  for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

It's been a while since I have addressed my haircare on Growing Up Madison. I think I may have the craziest hair type ever on earth. One time it's all nice and great, the next it's frizzy and all over the place. It seems like it can never stay the way I want it to. I also live in a state that doesn't play nice when it comes to my hair either. It leaves it really dry and I'm constantly having to moisturize with a leave in conditioner. Earlier this year I did a post called Cozy's Complete Guide to Girls Hair where I highlighted a few styles that were perfect for the summer. So when a package arrived on my doorstep with SoCozy Haircare products I was pleasantly surprised and happy. All their products are kid tested and cozy approved and they are perfect for any type of hair, whether it's red hair, short hair, curly hair, frizzy hair or hair like mine that doesn't know what it wants to be.

There are currently three categories in the SoCozy collection (Behave, Boo & Cinch) and I will be highlighting all three. One thing that I should mention about the line is that they are totally safe. Here are some of the things that you should be aware of.

  • Non-toxic
  • No Parabens
  • No Sulfates
  • No Phthalates
  • No Synthetic Color
  • No Propylene Glycol
  • Free of Alcohol, Gluten, Wheat and Nuts.

Now lets start with category one: Behave!

Behave consists of the Behave Styling Cream Soft Hold, the Styling Gel Medium Hold and the Styling Mousse Medium Hold.

I really loved these products and use these constantly. As I mentioned my hair is usually frizzy and there is usually fly-aways. It seemed like my hair could never be tamed but with just a little dollop my hair stays in place. It doesn't leave my hair crunchy like some gel do and it doesn't dry out my hair either. It really does stop my hair from misbehaving. My favorite has got to be the Styling Cream Soft Hold.

Next lets move on to Boo!

I will admit that I didn't use this product. While I am in daycare there is always the risk that I can come home from a lice outbreak in school. So far that hasn't happened and while having head lice can happen to anyone, it doesn't have to happen to me. The Boo line of prevention products includes: Boo! Lice Prevention Spray, Boo! Lice Prevention Shampoo and Boo! Lice Prevention Conditioner.

These are infused with Tea Tree Oil (one of the most effective natural ingredient known to prevent lice), Rosemary and Peppermint and I have to admit that they do smell amazing! Since they are non-toxic they are safe to use everyday and actually you can use the lice prevention spray as a daily leave in conditioner.

Now on to our final category and certainly not the least. The Cinch!

The Cinch is known as the basics because it's a cinch to use. This line consists of The Cinch Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner, the Cinch 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash, the Cinch 2 in 1 Shampoo + Body Wash and The Cinch Super Hydrating Conditioner.

The Cinch Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner is one of my most used product. It keeps my hair hydrated and moisturized and I have to tell you that it smells really good. The 3-in-1 shampoo + conditioner + body wash is my next favorite. It's great to have all these products in one. Not only is it a money saver because you're not buying 3 different products but it truly works. And of course it also smells good too.

Now you know I love showing my before and after because I don't believe it's a true review of a product if you don't actually use the product. So you get to see my hair with all it's fly-aways before I use my SoSozy Cinch Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner combined with the Behave Styling Cream Soft Hold. I have quite a lot of fine hair at my hairline that doesn't seem to grow and it never stays in place, that is it never did until I started using my brand new SoCozy products.

Look at the difference the SoCozy products made of my hair. I even have that elusive smile that you rarely see on my face. Not only did it leave my hair looking so much better but my hair smelled divine. I know that you would love SoCozy haircare products as much as I do. SoCozy haircare products for kids is So Smart, So Safe, So Easy and oh So Cool! They totally get my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!

  1. What some fantastic sounding products, I have to admit I love the fun and colourful packaging just as much as the idea of the products.

  2. These seem like quality products for kids. I like the idea of a lice prevention treatment. It's much better to prevent them than have to get rid of them.

  3. My niece hair is like that. We never know what it's going to be like day after day. These look like really good haircare products and I can surely see the difference after your hair was done. I'm going to check these out for my niece. I love the basics. I can probably even use it in my own hair.

  17. I know it's for kids, but I think I need the behave! I have thick hair and recently got it cut up to my shoulders (is was almost to my butt!). Now, when it dries on its own, it's a crazy mix between curly on one side and fluffy on the other. I love products designed for kids because that means they're made to be gentle!
