Snow Pearly White Twirly Fairytale Children's Book & CD

Disclaimer: I received products  for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

You're probably wondering, aren't there any toy reviews today or parenting tips or even recipes? Well we're still celebrating our Toddler Book Talk Tuesday and today is dedicated to only books just like every Tuesday will be from now on. I even plan on doing some of my favorite toddler books in a post in the not too distant future. Today though I want to share with you a delightful book that was sent to me. Snow Pearly White Twirly tells the tale of an adventurous little snowflake that was transformed into a droplet, swims the world making friends and who even visits Santa!

"Snow Pearly White Twirly" was inspired by the traditional German winter song "Schneeflöckchen Weißröckchen". It's a new fairytale children’s keepsake picture book with sing-along music CD that encourages activity  and is perfect for Christmas gift giving.  It's written by Monika Vix and illustrated by Volker Lettkemann and is available in hardcover and paperback with accompanying audio CD, or audio book alone at Snowpearly.com from $9.98 – $22.90.  It's recommended for children aged three to eight years old.

Snow Pearly is a curious little snowflake that wonders what Earth is like. Despite her mother's warning, she jumps off her cloud to visit the kids on the beach. Snow Pearly falls into the water and transforms into a water droplet. Together with her new friend, the nosy fish, she swims around the world to find her way back home. But will it be possible? "Snow Pearly White Twirly" picture book inspires young children to read out loud and sing along. The CD includes a delightful narration of the story as well as an extra karaoke version of all four songs.

This is not your usual picture book but rather a chapter book which is why it's recommended for those a bit older than toddlers. The book includes songs and lyrics and I loved that the CD was included. You can get the entire story narrated to you which is what I really enjoyed. I loved hearing the songs which were all very well done. The illustrations were also very beautifully done and includes white little figures that your little one can color in. This book really encourages your little ones to read and sing along. This creates a personalized and unique children's book, one that the entire family would enjoy.

While your toddlers may not take the time to sit down and actually listen to the story all the way through, they will most certainly enjoy the music. You can also use the pictures to tell the story without reading which is what mommy likes to do. It's why picture books are perfect for babies and toddlers. You can recreate the story any way you feel like and your little one can follow along. This is a great book for the holidays and do you know one lesson I learned from this book. Mommies are always right!

  16. This is so cute! My daughter loves books and music so I think it's perfect for her. She is just now getting in to reading little chapter books and we read two chapters each night at bedtime. It's fun to see if she can remember what was happening in the story where we left off! :)
