2 Ingredient Homemade Kit Kat Bars ‏

Halloween may be over but that doesn’t mean that your sweet tooth disappears, well at least not completely. I’m a huge fan of wafers and I especially love Kit Kat Bars, it’s the one candy that usually goes missing first from the kids candy stash. If you love them as much as I do, what I have for you today is a super easy way for you to make them at home with just 2 ingredients. Yes I did say just 2 ingredients. It doesn’t get easier than that now does it? Now you can satisfy your sweet tooth no matter what time of the day it is, without having to run to the store. Enjoy our 2 Ingredient Homemade Kit Kat Bars, you kids will also enjoy making them with you.  It’ll be like Halloween all over again!

Here is what you’ll need:

Ingredients:-

12 oz. package of Wilton chocolate candy melts

1 package of vanilla wafers – you know, the cheap cookies your grandparents used to buy 😉

Aluminium foil or parchment lined baking sheet

Directions:-

1.
Pour the candy melts into a microwavable safe dish and heat in 30 second increments, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Allow to cool 2-3 minutes after it melts.

2.
Dunk one vanilla wafer in the wafer one at a time (see photo) and then flip to coat the other side. Lift out of the dish with a fork and allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.

3.
Place the Kit Kat on the foil or parchment lined baking sheet and then dip the rest of your vanilla wafer cookies until you’ve used all the melted chocolate.

4.
Place the baking sheet in the fridge to allow the chocolate to full set (about 10-15 minutes) and then store in a cool dry area in an airtight container.

*Makes approximately 15-20 homemade Kit Kats.
