Trunki Paddlepak - Totally Splashproof

Disclaimer: I received products for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

We have had great weather and even though it's getting a bit cooler it's still great for outdoor play. We have also had a lot of rain this summer as well which means that when we go out to the park we have to be careful how we pack our things for play. Well Trunki has you covered in that department. Introducing the Trunki Paddlepak. Trunki makes fun, innovative travel gear for families on-the-go!
They believe travel is about new experiences, creating memories and making every journey just as enjoyable as the destination, and I have to say that I truly believe that.

My brother and I were both sent the Trunki Paddle Pak in Flo for me and Pinch for him. Can you guess why his is called Pinch? It totally looks like a lobster. There are quite a few others to choose from, so if you don't particularly like these, you can certainly find one you may love a little bit more. Here are the others below. Feel free to choose the one you love.

So what is so awesome about the Trunki Paddlepak you ask. Well let me tell you all about it. After all that's what I'm here for. The PaddlePak is a water-resistant backpack designed to stop wet stuff from getting in, or leaking out. Made from lightweight and durable material it's big enough to fit everything your little one needs for fun-filled days out and about, at school camp, parks, family vacation, sleepovers as well as trips to the beach or pool.

As you can see from the photo it not only resembles a lobster but it also has a few safety guards in effect for your little one too. It comes with an adjustable back strap that is padded so it feels comfortable on. It also has reflective trim and we got to test this feature out and it truly does work. The back of the Trunki Paddlepak is made of mesh and is also padded. There is also a little pocket in the fin that you can use to put your little items in.

This is no little bag although it is perfect for toddlers and big kids alike. This does hold quite a lot. Also on the inside is a place to put your name and telephone number, or address if that is what you would prefer, in the event of it getting lost. This was big enough to hold my big brothers jeans and tee with still a lot of room to spare. According to Trunki it has a spacious 1.5 gallon capacity.

Now there is a right and wrong way to wear the Trunki and of course I'm once again to the rescue by showing you how it's done. The Paddlepak folds close and is secured with a breakaway safety buckle. While it may look cool to fasten it in the front, that's a big no-no!

You roll it close and secure it in the back the correct way. Once it's folded and secured close it becomes absolutely water resistant. And I do mean completely water resistant. It also dries pretty quickly as well.

With the adjustable straps, reflective piping and even little accessory loops that you can use to customize to make it totally yours, the Trunki Paddlepak is the perfect water resistant backpack for toddlers and big kids alike.

I am truly loving the Trunki Paddlepak that was sent to me. Everywhere I've worn it I've been questioned about it and mommy is only too happy to tell everyone where we got it from. There is no better advertisement than word of mouth if you ask me. That's why the Trunki Paddlepak gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!

So what are you waiting for? Run out and get a Trunki Paddlepak today.

  1. Those are too cute! My son would have wanted the whale one when he was little. Great job on the safety pictures, better than most companies put on their own products!

  25. These are freakin' adorable! You can tell they're actually really well made, too, from the picture of the view of the back of the backpack. The neck buckle thing kind of freaked me out, so it's good to know that's NOT the way to wear it! lol
