It’s officially fall and that means cooler weather. While we have had some very hot days we have also had some very cool ones as well. Cool weather in conjunction with rain doesn’t leave much for outdoor play. I also hate feeling cold and I really don’t like winter although I am a winter baby. Summer is by far the best season of the year for me. While most children love playing in the snow and building snowmen, I’d rather be outdoors doing water play. This year though I know that I won’t be cold thanks to The Strawberry Kids. They were kind enough to send me one of their very warm jacket from their collection. They are currently available in 4 designs, the Birdie, Robot, Zoo and Dollie.

The Strawberry Kids jacket collection was designed for kids 6 months to 4 years of age. I was sent the Strawberry Kids Jacket in the Dollie design and the first thing I noticed was the vibrant color and the beautiful pattern. The design of animals with a cute little “dollie” in between the animals will have your little one smiling. This is a fun way to point out all the animals on your jacket while waiting for the school bus or even going out for a walk.

These jackets are not only beautiful but they are also very warm. Just take a look! They are made of 100% polyester and are waterproof but they also come with a polar fleece lining. That means that when it’s cold outside we’ll be warm in this amazing jacket. Another fact is that is that it is also machine washable. No one likes wearing a dirty jacket around. I know I don’t!

The hood of the jacket zips all the way up so that your little one’s neck can be covered during the days when the wind is blowing. You can also keep those cheeks warm. I feeling the cold air against my cheeks so I was happy to see that it zipped all the way up. The jacket also comes with 2 side pockets.

I wear a size 3T in my regular clothing but decided to get a size 4T in the jacket. The jackets run true to size so with me wearing sweaters in the winter I decided a bigger size coat would be better. Yes it was cold out that day when I wore this. For those that don’t know, I live in ski country Colorado and it does get cold here but I was very warm in my jacket. The sleeves were just slightly long on me but that’s ok because I could tuck my hands inside. With the entire jacket having that fleece lining that is such a plus for me.

As you can see from the back it covers my little butt so even my booty is kept warm and nice. The hood covers my head nicely and once again just look at the design. Isn’t it the first thing you notice?

Your little ones are going to love wearing their new Strawberry Kids jacket like I did. For those who don’t like getting dressed to go outdoors they might actually beg you to wear it. You both won’t be worried about the cold because I can assure you that this jacket truly does keep you warm and cozy. I can’t wait for Old Man Winter to show his face because I know I’m going to be OK wearing my brand new jacket from the Strawberry Kids. Bring on the snow!
