Joovy Toy Doll Caboose Tandem Stroller - The Only Stroller Your Doll Will Need

Disclaimer: I'm a Joovy Blogger and received products for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

Kids love being just like mom and dad and I'm no exception. We like imitating what we see and it's also one of the ways that we learn. While it's fun being pushed around in a stroller it's also fun pushing as well. There have been times where at the mall I would get out of my stroller and push it around. Yes I want to be just like mommy. I have quite an array of dolls, and I like doing everything a mommy does to their babies with my dolls. I like dressing them, taking care of their hair and even giving them a bath. When I was selected to review two of Joovy's toy products for my dolls I was super excited. One of them is the Joovy Toy Caboose Tandem Stroller which I am going to review right now for you, and the other the Joovy Toy Car Seat which will be reviewed later. Now I have had other doll strollers that didn't last quite a long time. They broke pretty easy and not because I'm rough on my toys, which I truly am, but because they weren't built to last. The first thing mommy and I noticed when we opened our box was just how well built this one was.

While this is a toy stroller for your dolls this is truly well built and designed. It was made to be just like the real thing. They took everything into consideration, down to the materials they used. There aren't many plastic pieces to be found on this stroller so you know that it will be with your little one for years to come.

Set up was truly simple and the details were well laid out and very easy to understand. Mommy hates directions where they are so complicated that it takes forever to get things set up when it could only take a few minutes. Luckily for us Joovy's instructions were easily understood and the set up actually took less than 10 minutes. The only requirements for set up were the wheels, stroller canopy and the tray. Everything else comes fitted for you. I couldn't wait to get my doll and get going!

This stroller is perfect for your 18" dolls and maybe even bigger. Great for stuffed animals as well. I decided that since this is perfect for big dolls that I wanted to try a smaller doll and went with my 10" doll that I received earlier this year. As you can see it fits but is a little tiny but you can totally use a much smaller doll in this stroller.

Now the Joovy Toy Caboose has all the features as their original Caboose made for actual babies. The front seat reclines and includes a 5-point harness. The front wheel swivels, the canopy is adjustable, there is also a 2 position footrest, there is a storage basket, snack tray, rear platform and even a bench seat for a larger toy to ride in the back. It even comes with a car seat adapter that works with the Doll Car Seat so that it can become an actual travel system. And just check out the padded handle bars that is super comfortable for me to push.

Now for those wondering, the Joovy Toy Doll Caboose Tandem Stroller is also available in blue so that boys can join in on the fun. After all who says that boys can't be like daddy? Daddies do push strollers after all. Once you're finished pushing and having fun it folds up really easy and compact so that you can continue your fun another day, or travel with it to Grandma's house.

I should also let you know that I'm 2 years old and 35" tall, judging from me pushing the stroller in that very first picture I would say that this stroller is perfect for ages 2+ all the way to about age 6 or 7, depending on the height of your child. It is recommended however for ages 3+. It is pretty easy to maneuver and I've had no problems pushing it at all.

Your little one would love this Joovy Toy Caboose Tandem Stroller as much as I do. I guarantee it. Now they can be just like mom or dad and push their dolls or stuffed animals around the neighborhood while you take your pets for a walk. Or even going for an evening stroll. The Toy Caboose will have you both moving. This makes the perfect holiday gift and which is why it gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!

You can purchase your Joovy Toy Caboose online at the Joovy online store.

  19. So sweet! I do wish that they made doll/superhero strollers that were more boy-ish. Little boys imitate their moms too, and my boys would've loved to have pushed their superheroes around.

  24. This is so, so cute! I love toys that encourage pretend play. It's great that they make this one in blue for little boys, too, but I'd also love to see it in gender neutral colors or colors that matched the full sized versions.

  25. My girl's are huge fans of playing mama and baby, especially with a new baby on the way. Darling stroller!

  26. Oh how fun is this to have. I love that it's big and just the right size for her. I remember when my daughter had one of these, she loves pushing it around the house and outdoors.

  27. This is so cute. I had all sorts of prams when I was younger. Although, they were plastic as I definitely remember filling them with water to give my Barbie's a bath... strange child! Isn't it so funny that little girls want to push prams around. They've just entered this world and yet want pretend babies of their own to take care of!
