Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Doll

I may have mentioned a few times that I just love dolls. I have quite a few of them in different shades of color, with hair, without hair, with accessories, without. Just name it and I'm sure I have it. Dolls aren't just for fun but there is so much you can do with a doll. You can learn body parts, you can learn how to dress and undress and even learn how to brush their hair properly. The way you would want your own hair to be brushed. When offered the chance to review the Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Doll there was no hesitation. Not only is the Baby Stella Doll perfect for toddlers but it's also a nurturing doll.

Baby Stella is a 15 inch doll perfect for children ages 12 months and up, but I can say with certainty, that you can give Stella to one younger than 12 months since there are no small parts. She is truly the very first doll that you'll want.

As you can see, she comes boxed and while mommy doesn't like the open type boxes, (mommy says they're a pain to gift wrap), you can totally gift wrap her for the little girl or boy in your life. After all there are boys who play with dolls too.

Baby Stella is made of polyester fibre and is soft all over and even has lifelike fingers and toes. She does have pellets in her bottom which makes her easy to place in a sitting position. She completes with a removable outfit a diaper and the a magnetic pacifier. The outfit can taken off and put on very easily. The tops has a velcro closure while the pants has an elasticized waist.

Now one of the features we really loved about Baby Stella is that I can learn my body parts so easily. As I mentioned she has lifelike fingers and toes but she also has a belly button as well. How many dolls do you know actually have belly buttons?

Baby Stella has simple embroidered facial features which you can use to teach your little one their facial parts, such as, eyes, ears, mouth and nose.  She even has a soft tuft of hair which unfortunately can't be combed since it's made of fleece.

As I mentioned the included pacifier has a magnet which attaches easily to Stella's mouth making her even more realistic.

The Baby Stella collection has five different styles with unique skins tones and hair and style variations. This variety of dolls gives your little one the choice to choose the one that is just right for them. There is also more fashion and accessories at fine retailers near you or just visit manhattantoy.com.

This is the perfect gift for any little one in your family. Inspires creative role play, fine motor skills, responsibility, caring and nurturing. Your little one can learn so much from just playing with Baby Stella and I highly recommend adding this to your Holiday Wish List. She totally gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!

So what do you think of Baby Stella?

  2. I am so loving your list. So far everything you've listed I want. My niece loves My Little Pony and Baby Alive, Monster High and now this would totally make her day. She's 3 and just loves dolls. I think that this would really make a great gift. She can undress and name body parts to her heart content.

  18. My two year old daughter would love this doll. I like that it's fully plush because she likes to sleep with her dolls and the ones with hard head and limbs just make me feel like she needs something like this! Thanks for sharing and I will definitely be looking into this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas.
