Ever After High Thronecoming Apple White Doll

Disclaimer: I received products  for review purposes as part of the Amazon Vine Reviewer Program. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

I am a huge fan of dolls and it doesn't matter what kind of doll it is. If it can be played with I am definitely going to play with him or her. I was given a Monster High doll for Christmas last year so when given the chance to check out the Ever After High Thronecoming dolls I was more than excited. Now which would I receive? There are actually 4 dolls in the Ever After High Thronecoming series. C.A Cupid, Blondie Lockes, Raven Queen and Apple White. From listening to their names they sound like someone from a fairy tale, and guess what? You would be right! I was sent Apple White and I have to say that she is gorgeous!
Now a bit about Ever After High. You're either a Royal or a Rebel. At Ever After High, the teenagers of fairytales choose to either follow their parent's footsteps or discover their own Happily Ever After. For hexquisite fashionistas, the Thronecoming dance is an epic occasion! No gown is too magnificent or glittery, no accessory too fableous or fantastic, no masquerade makeup too magical or enchanting!

Apple White is the daughter of Snow White and leader of the Ever After Royals. She comes with fashion accessories which includes, a masquerade mask, purse, doll stand, and story bookmark. That key you see in the photo is also a brush for her beautiful hair.

Her face is exquisite and while you may think that Apple White should have black hair, after all her mother Snow White hair was was black as night, Apple White's hair is all blonde with gold highlights. The detailing on her face is fabulous and those lashes, while they may look real actually aren't.

From her eyebrows to her lipstick it is all painted on and doesn't she just look great. She comes with earrings that can be taken in and out taking her look from glam fabulous to just fabulous. Her hair can also be brushed and it's one of the things I usually do as soon as I get a doll.

Now just take a look at her gown. Her floor length gown designed in red, cream and gold with a little black which truly highlights it all. The glitter effect on her skirt just says "hey I'm already thronecoming queen".

Her accessories are all removable and you can add or subtract whichever tickles your fancy. I particularly like seeing her with her little jeweled bag on her arms.

She's also totally ready for the ball with her cute little masquerade mask. Now Apple White can either be played with or she can be displayed since she comes complete with a doll stand. I love playing with my dolls so of course the first thing I did was play with her when she came out of the box.

So who will win the Thronecoming Crown? Apple White most certainly has my vote. After all she is the fairest of them all!

  8. Dolls have come such a long way since I played with them as a kid. Having boys, I've kind of lost touch with what's new for dolls. Great details on your Apple White doll. I can see where she would be lots of fun to play with!

  9. She sure is a pretty doll. Dolls really have changed a lot, this is the kind we'd have shelved to look at only when I was a kid. :)

  10. I think these dolls are so pretty! There is one called Ashlynne and that's my bff's daughter's name. She was so excited to have a doll that shared her name, especially since it isn't a common one and these dolls are so cool!

  12. What fun things children of today have. Back in the day, 40 years ago when I was growing up, our dolls were simple plastic (or rubber) thingies, and the way we dressed them up? Cut the ends of a throwaway sock from daddy, cut two holes on the side for the arms, and dress the doll in nice shades of gray or black. Yeah...fun times...not, lol.
