Citrus Lane - 32 Month Old Box - September 2014

* This post contains affiliate and referral links.

It's Citrus Lane time once again! And once again I've had it for a few days but just haven't gotten around to sharing it with you. While I love sharing my boxes mommy is usually very busy and so it does take some time before she gets around to doing the work for me. So what is Citrus Lane you ask if you're new to my blog. Well Citrus Lane is a monthly curated subscription for newborns to age 5. Each month they send you a box of goodies catered to your little one's age, all a surprise of course. There are 3 subscription levels and the longer you subscribe the cheaper it is. Subscriptions starts at $29/month and I have been a subscriber for quite some time and I love it. You never know what you're going to get until you open your box. If you are interested in seeing what I got in my box last month, you can take a look at my 31 Month Old Box. So  now that I've explained it a little let me get into what I got in my 32 month old box this month.

Citrus Lane sends an introduction or "Hello" card telling you what you got in your box when you open it. Opening the box is a big deal for me because I'm usually pretty excited and can't wait to see what's on the inside. Now here is my opened box. Do you see what I see? Before I go into it let me share what Citrus Lane had to say about my box this month.

Hello card read:
Hello from Citrus Lane! September means it's officially fall here at Citrus Lane. With the days getting cooler, we tried to think about things you might need now that you're spending more time inside. In the spirit of the back to school season, we wanted to send some fun developmental toys and books, along with a brand new snack. We hope you enjoy!

Now on to what was actually on the inside!

Red Shape Sorting Clock from Melissa & Doug - $14.99
Little kids are fascinated by clocks and the concept of time long before they can actually figure out how to read a clock. This fun and colorful toy starts out as learning tool to reinforce shapes, numbers, and counting, and later helps children learn to tell time. melissaanddoug.com

I was super excited to see this because mommy and I was recently looking at this in TJMaxx and mommy almost got it for me. This not only teaches me numbers but colors and shapes as well. It's a very versatile toy and one that will help me learn the time although everything for me right now is 8 o'clock.

Pieces Foam Bath Puzzle from Boon - $9.99
Your child may be growing tired of playing with the same old squirters at bathtime. This unique toy from Boon is sure to provide hours of entertainment - the pieces fit together to create a puzzle on bathroom walls Great for practicing problem solving and improving fine motor skills. booninc.com

I was getting super tired of my bath toys so this was another welcomed addition. I actually got to use them that night when I had my bath and I love them.

Little Red Hen Book & CD Set from Barefoot Books - $8.99
This new edition features the Little Red Hen working hard to make bread, without a little help from her friends. Encourage your little one to learn lessons about hard work and teamwork from this classic story. The book even comes with the instructions to bake your own bread if you're feeling ambitious! Visit barefootbooks.com/citruslane for an exclusive limited time offer.

I just love it whenever Citrus Lane sends me books. You can never have too many books and I just love being read to and sometimes even reading on my own. The fact that this one contains the CD makes it even more special because I can listen to it whenever I want to. This is a classic story and one I think should be in every library.

Cinnamon Crunch from Somersault Snacks
These unusual, healthy snacks are made from sunflower and sesame sees (and they're nut-free). We like the pleasing crunch and sweet taste, as well as the fact that they're high in protein and a good source of fiber, iron, and calcium. They're a great treat for kids and adults alike. Use code CitrusLane15 for 15% off at somersaultsnackco.com thru 10/31/2014.

These snacks actually tasted pretty good and the fact that they're nut-free was a plus for mommy. Mommy has nut allergy so can't eat anything that contains nuts or was made in factory that even has nuts. She thought these were really good too and we'll be looking for them at our grocery store.

The value for this box was $33.97 which wasn't that big of a saving but I loved everything I got. I especially loved my Melissa & Doug toy and couldn't be happier.

If you're interested in getting your very own subscription you can use my invitation and get 50% off your first box. $15 is actually a great price for trial subscription and I'm sure you'll decide you love them as much as I do. So what are you waiting for? Give Citrus Lane a try today!
