Visit the Colorado Renaissance Festival 14 June - 3 August #ad

*Disclosure: I am being provided free tickets to the fair for sharing this wonderful news with you!

I have never been to a Renaissance Festival before. Well why would I? After all I'm only a toddler but I am so looking forward to going to the Colorado's Renaissance Festival this year with my family.

The Colorado Renaissance Festival, Colorado's premier summertime event, is Celebrating 38 years in a style unique only to those who visit the picturesque mountain venue of Larkspurshire. Patrons take a magical tour through time and legend and enjoy as hundreds of Colorfully costumed characters entertain continuously upon the village streets and on the Festival's 10 stages. More than 200 period artisans sell their one-of-a-kind works and demonstrate their unique crafts along the wooded streets and pathways.

Sounds like a lot of fun doesn't it? I can't wait to go and I'll be sure to update with lots of pics. Now for a bonus just photo below and you'll get a coupon for a free child's admission with each paid adult ticket. Awesome!

See you there!

Now here's a question for you: Have you ever been to a Renaissance Festival?

  9. Minnesota has a great Renaissance Festival in late August/early September. Not only have I been there, I actually worked there for two years when I was considerably younger. One year I was a serving wench and sold Florentine Ice (frozen sherbet in an orange half) and the second year, I work in an artisan's shop selling swords. It was an amazing experience as we lived onsite during the entire festival. (They have a camp set up for those that stay full time during the week). While we don't go every year anymore, we will be going again this year (as visitors). If you've never been to one, I highly recommend it. It's an experience you're not likely to have anywhere else! Great post!
