April 2014 Stork Stack – 27 Month Old – Review

You may have noticed that I haven’t been around for a while. Due to mommy’s job we sometime have to take a break. That doesn’t mean that we’ve forgotten about our loyal fans, we will never forget you! We do have to make up for lost time though and of course a few things have to take a back burner which I hate doing. Today my Stork Stack was one that had to do just that. I’ve had it for almost a week now, but because of our break, it’s finally making its way to the blog today.  I have been getting my Stork Stack subscription for a while now and I have been loving it so far. If you would love to see what I received in last month’s box, check out my March 2014 Stork Stack post. This is my 27 month old box and while I’m not 27 months old as yet it’s nice to get my box early. Stork Stack for those who don’t know is a monthly subscription service for babies in the third trimester until the age of 3. I guess I only have a few more months to go so I’m going to enjoy it while I can.

As usual Stork Stack sends the digital card letting you know what your box contains. Mommy usually waits until the box shows up and we open it before reading the card. That way the surprise isn’t spoiled and I just love surprises.

Spring is a busy time of year at Stork Stack, as we’re sure it is for all of you. Little ones are growing fast, toddlers are on the move, and little kids are ready for outside adventures. Our “Busy Bee” stack is full of love and surprises, with specially chosen products to keep busy parents worry-free and little ones entertained. We’re sure you’ll find a perfect mixture of care, cheer, nutrition and fun! So unpack your Busy Bee Stack, and watch the smiles blossom!

When I opened my box the first thing I saw was my KIND bar and a book. We all know how much I love books and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on that. I also saw another rainbow stacker that I already own but you can never have too much stackers.

Melissa & Doug – Rainbow Stacker: –  $7.99

www.melissaanddoug.com

Talk about a classic childhood toy! All the colors of the rainbow are represented by these eight smooth, easy-grasp wooden pieces. Stack them on the solid-wood base, designed with rocking edges for safe and intriguing play.

I’ve gotten this in two other boxes in December so this is the third I’m getting. I love this stacker and I play with this often. Melissa and Doug makes great products and this is must have for little ones.

The perfect recipe for bedtime!

Six adorable rabbits are just one ingredient needed for sweet Rabbit Pie! Combine with a sprinkling of kisses and some warm milk for the ideal bedtime story.

Told like a recipe, with delightful illustrations showing the preparations for bedtime, this charming picture book will enchant parents and children alike.

I am always up for a new book. This one is perfect for me for bedtime. The illustrations were beautiful and it was very easy to read. This is going to be a staple at bedtime for me for sure.

KIND bars: – $1.50

www.KindSnacks.com

There’s healthy. There’s tasty. Then there’s healthy and tasty. At KIND, we believe you deserve both—we call it our brAND philosophy. That’s why you’ll find all of our snacks are pretty much the nirvana of healthful tastiness. What began with just 8 bar varieties in 2004 has grown to over 22 bars and 6 Healthy Grains snackable clusters, and a multitude of new recipes being perfected and refined to our standards in the KIND kitchen.

I have been getting KIND bars a lot in my subscription boxes lately. Are they trying to tell me something? While they taste good mommy isn’t able to eat them because of nut allergies. Me and my brothers enjoy them though.

The KIND bar didn’t last very long and was the first thing that disappeared. I loved the book and since this was my third rainbow stacker mommy decided that she was going to regift this one. Once again this was another great box from Stork Stack but please no more KIND bars.

The total of my Stork Stack box this month was $36.48. The monthly subscription for a Stork Stack box is $27.99/month but you can get $10 off your first box by using my referral link. If the link doesn’t work, you can use discount code A241300F.
