EcoPrincess Organics Lotions - Review

Disclaimer: I received products from EcoPrincess Organics  for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the products were free, opinions are 100% my very own.

Who doesn't love nice smelling products? What about products that not only smell great but are great for you as well. With deadly, cancer causing chemicals in baby care products like lotions and bubble baths, it's a real concern among mothers that products being placed on their little ones skin be good for them as well. Although some baby product companies claim their products contain "below the acceptable level" of harmful ingredients, isn't it possible that repeated exposure over several years can increase the risk of cancer? Most moms, especially my mom don't want to take that chance. That's why when EcoPrincess, a children's line of natural and organic bathtime products contacted mommy to try their new collection of body lotions, mommy readily agreed. After all mommy cares about my sensitive skin. The EcoPrincess line of body lotions were made for little ones like me to protect and nourish our delicate skin.

I want to share a bit about EcoPrincess with you before I go into my review:

Ecoprincess is a 100% natural collection of children's bath products & play makeup made with certified organic ingredients. Created by a mom who became fed up with the highly toxic ingredients found in kids' products. Ecoprincess offers everything a princess could want, including play makeup, body glitter, water-based nail polish, and bath products.
The EcoPrincess line of lotions is available is three different scents: Lavender, Vanilla and Unscented and they're available for the very reasonable price of $13.99. Mommy and I received the Lavender and Vanilla.

EcoPrincess Body Lotion is 100% natural, paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free, toxin-free, Vegan/Cruelty-free, and uses only the best sustainably-sourced organic ingredients. I do want to highlight their ingredients so that you can judge for yourself. These are really great products!

Ingredient Highlights:

  1. Aloe Vera Leaf Juice - Moisturizes without leaving the skin greasy and help treat dry/flaky skin.
  2. Sunflower Seed Oil - High in vitamins A, C and D to protect the skin of infants whose skin is more susceptible to skin infection and disease.
  3. White Tea Leaf Extract - Repairs skin and enhances the skin's immune system.
  4. Spirulina Platensis (algae) Extract - Fights free radicals.

The consistency of the lotions isn't too thick but it isn't too thin either. It absorbs easily into the skin and leaves it feeling not only moisturized but also leaves me smelling great as well. I couldn't resist smelling my skin after it was rubbed in. I do think that the Vanilla is my absolute favorite, although the Lavender is great for bedtime. Mommy likes to use the Lavender lotion right before I go to bed because it is so calming.

With my extremely sensitive skin I was a little hesitant about using scented lotions. They aren't extremely overwhelming in the fragrant department and I came out great with no rashes etc. My skin actually loved them and so did I. It's not very often that I come out smiling with scented products and usually use unscented a lot. The EcoPrincess lotions worked great for me!

I have to recommend the EcoPrincess line of lotions. They get my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!

  1. My skin is sensitive, too, Madison, so I understand how nice it is when you find products that you can use safely & comfortably. This sounds like a great line of products :)

  2. I have to use a lot of lotion on my face around my nose because it dries out so badly in the winter. I prefer something organic (like this), but can't always find it at the store.

    1. It is sometimes difficult to find organic all natural products at your big stores like Walmart or Target. You can try your local Whole Foods or health food store or even online. I totally understand about the weather drying out your skin, I have that problem too. ♥ Madison

  5. Love the name! Love the ingredients! Love the scents. I want them for me, but I imagine Scarlet would also love the "princess" products.
This winter has done a number on our skin. I knew it was bad when Scarlet had dry hands. I figured with me it was dehydration but my four-year-old is NOT dehydrated! Winter is bad.

  8. It is nice to find scented lotions that are damaging to your skin. Ususally scented lotions are full of alcohol and make your skin worse. I will have to check it out. Thanks!!

    1. You have to be picky when you have sensitive skin. Mommy is just the same way which is why she tends to stay away from the big companies products. ♥ Madison
