Bluum 25 Month Old Box – February 2014 – Review

I have had my February Bluum Box for quite some time but have failed to share it with you my readers. It’s not because I wasn’t happy with it, which to be honest I was not, but because of what has been happening with my writer as the update stated yesterday. We have never missed a month of letting you know what we received in our subscription box, and although this is the month of March I couldn’t let it go. I just had to share my February box with you. For those new to Bluum, Bluum is a monthly subscription box for kids ages 0-3 and costs $24.95/month. If you’re interested in seeing what I got in last month’s box, you can check out my 24 month old, January 2014 box. Each month my box of goodies arrive and sometimes I’m in love and sometimes not so much. Let’s take a look together at what I got for February.

This month our Bluum box came in the signature red box and not the plain one that we received last month. What’s on the inside is of course a surprise since Bluum doesn’t give you hints before your box arrives.

Let’s all get into what I received together.

Calendula Weather Protection Cream by Weleda

Formulated to protect your baby’s sensitive skin from harsh cold and wind, Weleda Calendula Protection creams blend beeswax and lanolin to create a barrier between the elements and soft, vulnerable skin.

With the weather being the way it is, cold, it is great to have something to protect my sensitive skin. Since this contains no synthetic anything this is perfect for the entire family and it smells great too!

Baby Ecos Stain and Odor Remover by Earth Friendly Products

With a naturally derived formula, this Baby Ecos Natural Stain and Odor Remover utilizes gentle, non-toxic ingredients to help you battle any household stain.

I am a big fan of the Earth Friendly products. I’ve use their laundry detergent and this product as well with great results. I certainly recommend them to anyone.

Elizabeth Socks by BabyLegs

Known for their fashionable and functional legwarmers, BabyLegs is now keeping your little one’s toes toasty, too!

I am a big fan of Babylegs and actually have a few of their leg warmers. I also own a few of their socks and love them! I can’t wait to wear these. The colors are rather lovely and they are oh so comfortable!

Organic Terry Bath Puppet – Sage Alligator by Green Sprouts

Made with organic cotton, this soft alligator hand puppet doubles as a washcloth.

I’ve had Green Sprouts bath puppets before and I love bathing with them. They make bath time a lot more fun. Who doesn’t like puppet play while having a bath? Theatre in the bath tub couldn’t be any better if you ask me.

Oscillo – 3 Doses by Boiron

Take Oscillo at the First Sign of Flu! Oscillococcinum (o-sill-cox-see-num) is safe, natural and easy to take. Oscillococcinum, an FDA drug-regulated, over-the-counter homeopathic flu medicine, is currently available in 43 countries.

I got my flu shot but this would come in very handy if I suddenly get flu like symptoms. This is great for everyone in the entire household so not just me would benefit from this. According to the packaging it’s for ages 2+ and will temporarily relieve flu-like symptoms such as fatigue, headache, body aches, chills and fevers. Lets hope I never have to use it but it is good to keep on hand.

This hasn’t been one of my favorite boxes from Bluum. There were no toys or even a book to keep me entertained. This is a new year so mommy will be keeping an eye on these subscription boxes. If we aren’t happy we will not continue them. Bluum need to step up their game because they have been really disappointing us a lot lately.

Mommy didn’t bother taking the time to calculate prices for February’s box because it was so disappointing. Their boxes are usually $24.99 a month and if you would love to sign up for your first box, you can sign up using my referral link. Give them a try, you just may love it!
