Oh My Devita Baby Skin Care Line

Disclosure: I received products from Oh My Devita Baby. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.
As you may know by now, mommy and I are always on the hunt for great products to bring to my readers. We tend to stick to as natural, or close to as natural products as we can. We're not saying that the big company products aren't great, but have you ever taken the time to read the ingredients? I have no idea how to pronounce most of them and neither does mommy. If we can't read it then we aren't too sure we should be using it. When we first heard of this new line of product called Oh My Devita Babywe just knew that we had to share it with you.

Before I go into what we received let me tell you a bit about Oh My Devita Baby.

  • Oh My DeVita Baby was inspired by Cheyanne DeVita’s love of all things vegan, green and natural. And, it was only natural that the skincare company that bears her name should be making exceptional products for delicate young skin too. A mom herself, Cherylanne knows your baby is the most precious thing in the world to you and there’s nothing you wouldn’t do to protect and cherish your bundle of joy.

So, armed with her extensive knowledge as a formulating chemist, and her primary mission as a devoted parent, she set about the task of applying the same philosophy that has built DeVita Natural Skincare into the leading vegan skincare brand and applied it to Oh My DeVita Baby.

Mommy and I received the Oh My DeVita Baby Bubbly Babies inCalming Calendula and Bubbly BabiesFragrance Free. We also received the Oh My Devita Baby Butter Cheeks. Now these products are 100% vegan and paraben free. Products are also all gluten free and contain no GMO's.

First I'm going to review the Bubbly Babies that we received. They are both 6oz in size and can be used as a Shampoo/Body Wash. They are also tear free and check out the adorable packaging. They have never been tested on animals and are all made right here in the good old USA.

Mommy decided to try the Calming Calendula first. I have tell you that the packaging on these products are all recyclable. Calendula we found out is really great for quite a lot of things and the smell is really mild. No overpowering scents that make you want to go ewww. I also have very sensitive skin and since these were all classified as pure and natural and also mild, I wanted to give it a chance and see what would happen. Nothing did! So I can safely say that the Calming Calendula is great for sensitive skin as well.

Next we decided to use the Fragrance Free version. The fragrance free is touted for "extremely sensitive skin" which I do have. Now most products claim to be fragrance free but you can still detect a hint of fragrance. When Oh My Devita Baby said that this was fragrance free, they meant it! One of the other thing that mommy and I loved was that a little goes a very long way. It took about a dime size amount on my little bath poof and I was able to bathe myself from head to toe. You know that this will last a long time.

After my bath it was time to try out the Oh My Devita Baby Butter Cheeks. Now I'm accustomed to using creams and lotions on my baby butt to prevent diaper rashes. As you know I'm still potty training so I'm in diapers. I loved the Butter Cheeks and so did mommy. It's great not having to stick your hand into a cream or rubbing lotion on. This comes in a tube and does not smell like medicine. It does rub on very easily and has vaseline look but much lighter. Mommy has found even more uses for the butter cheeks. It's a great moisturizer, and mommy has rubbed it on my legs which tend to get really dry in the winter.

Now don't think that because these products have the word baby in them it's just for babies. These products are great for everyone! Especially those with sensitive skin.

You can purchase the entire line of their baby skin care products on their website which includes:
  • Powder Puff Baby Powder which is talc-free. Did you know that talc was not that good for you? Mommy did which is why some of the big brand companies don't make it to my body.

They are also available for sale at select Target stores which you can find using their store locator, and online at Drugstore.com.

Here are the ways to connect with Oh My Devita Baby:

  13. I'm so happy to see more gentle, free bath products for little ones. I didn't have the option with my oldest (16) but thankfully we could use them with our 4 year old. (and they aren't too bad for mom and dad either!)

  16. This is my introduction to oh my devita brand products! I try to use gentle skin products on my children, as they both have sensitive skin which they inherited from me, unfortunately. Also, my son has reactions to gluten, and sometimes bath products can have wheat by products in them. I’m glad to know about this line.

  17. I've never heard of this brand before! I'm going to have to pass this on my to my sister-in-law for my niece and nephew. Fragrance irritates both of their skin so she's been looking for something like this.

  34. I like that it actually was fragrance-free. Just because it says it, doesn't make it always true. Glad to hear that's not the case with the Devita skin care line. Thanks for the product intro.!

  40. Vegan, not tested on animals, no GMO, no yucky stuff, then this is definitely the product for me. I tend to use baby products. I don't understand why a lot of people don't use the baby stuff. They are more mild and gentle for your skin. No harsh stuff for me.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  46. My boys love bubble baths, too. A little too much - they're always trying ot make their own by pouring in a bottle of baby body wash!

    ReplyDelete

  52. Oh I've never heard of this brand but I'm always looking for products like these! Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  53. How cool is this?! I love that you can relate to my kiddos issues so much. Maaan, sensitive skin is NO fun ... but it looks like you've found a really great soap to help! I love their packaging ... and that a dime-sized amount of soap washed all of you. As a mom with three kids, I can't stand soaps that I've got to use a whole half bottle to get any kind of sudsy action and cleanliness. It seems like such a waste of tiiiiime and money! I will be looking for this brand on our next trip to Target, for sure!
