Green Toys – The Environmentally Friendly Toys

Disclosure: I received toys from Green Toys for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the products were free, opinions are 100% my very own.

I have mentioned this
before but I am going to say it again. Mommy likes toys that enhances my
imagination, toys that I can play with without having it tell me what to do. I
do have quite a few electronic toys but I also have a LOT of toys that don’t do
anything as well. If given a choice mommy prefers those. She says back in her
time,(the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth), there were no toys that talked
to her. No toys that moved on their own with remotes. All toys were actually
played with and imaginations were used. Mommy thinks that children now don’t
use their imaginations as much so she was happy that Green Toys not
only believes the same way that she does, but that their products are also made
from recycled materials thereby protecting our environment further. Did I just
say recycled products? You bet I did! The products that I received were all
made from recycled plastic milk jugs and all made right here in the good old
USA. Makes you feel better about Green Toys right?!

Now here is a bit about
Green Toys before I go into those beautiful products above that I received.

  • We
believe the world would be a much better place if everyone said “please” and
“thank you”, cell phones didn’t ring during movies, and all toys were fun,
safe, and made from environmentally friendly materials. Since it’s probably no
use holding our breath for those first two, we’re concentrating on the toys.

    Green Toys Inc. makes an
awesome line of classic children’s toys constructed from recycled plastic and
other environmentally friendly materials. This helps reduce fossil fuel use and
reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improving the overall health and happiness of
    the planet.

I received the Green Toys Dump Truck and the Build-A-Bouquet. Like all Green Toys products, the Dump Truck and the Build-A-Bouquet are both made form 100% recycled plastic milk jugs. I didn’t even let mommy have a chance to take a pic of them in the packaging. I ripped the boxes open because I wanted to play with them right away. The bright colors are truly inviting and screams play with me!

The Build-A-Bouquet set contained 44 brightly colored pieces enabling me to stack lilies, petunias and daisies into assorted stem to create very beautiful and colorful bouquet creations. There are no pointy sharp edges and being made from recycled plastic jugs mommy thought that they would be “flimsy” but they are not. They do feel like they will hold up well over time. Mommy actually plans on getting another set so that I can build an ever bigger and better garden.

The Green Toys Dump Truck is really cool as well. Made entirely of recycled plastic as well, there is no metal parts whatsoever. Even the dumper works on my new truck and I had lots of fun loading things into it and dumping them out. Making a mess as mommy said. I didn’t see it as making a mess. I saw it as having lots of fun. This is the perfect toy for your little boy or girl and is great for not just indoors but outdoors as well. I can’t wait for the summer where I can push it around in my sandbox. Now for those who would prefer pink, there is actually a pink version for girls if that is your preference.

While I really enjoyed
pushing my truck around I have to say that the highlight of my day was actually
building bouquet of flowers. Mommy usually helps but this time I wanted no help
from her. I wanted to do this my way. It is very unusual for me to stay focused for very long on one toy. Building my bouquet of flowers kept me engaged much longer than any toy has lately. I kept making them over and over trying to get the perfect bouquet. When it was all over I placed them in my truck and decided to give them a ride.

Green Toys meets all
international toy safety standards and contains no BPA, PVC, or phthalates. When it comes to imagination building, Green Toys has that market covered. Their toys encourages development of fine and gross motor skills. They are all easy to clean and can even go in the dishwasher.

Green toys has won the iParenting Outstanding Product Award, Oppenheim Best Outdoor Toys awards and more. If you’re looking for a great company that makes great toys, that is environmentally friendly and not made in China, look no further than Green Toys. With toys for both babies and toddlers, including bath toys, kitchen toys and even building toys, you can find whatever your little one desire. Green Toys gets myTWO TINY THUMBS UP
