Andy Pandy Premium Bamboo Disposable Diapers #Review #Giveaway

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

I have used numerous brands of disposable diapers. You name it and I probably have tried it. I have even used some of the other eco-friendly brands on the market as well including the one that has the name heaven in its name. I think that may have been the worse one yet. While others swear by them I ended up with a diaper rash and it leaked everywhere. Mommy is usually skeptical when it comes to new products, especially when it has to go on my body. With very sensitive skin we tend to stick with the brand that work for us. We were sent 2 packs of Andy Pandy Premium Bamboo Disposable Diapers and our tune has changed. We still won't try every new product but this one has us believing that some products are actually too good to pass up.

What sold mommy was the fact that Andy Pandy premium bamboo disposable diapers listed that they were naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, making them ideal for little one's like me with sensitive skin. If you've been reading my blog for a while you may have noticed that I only review natural, or as close to natural products because of my sensitive skin. These diapers contains no perfumes or lotions, there is no alcohol or preservatives, no latex, PVC, TBT, or antioxidants. It is free of phthalates and 100% chlorine free.

It was time to put Andy Pandy to the test! Since mommy wasn't entirely sure about sizing mommy went with the XL which fits 26lbs and over. This turned out to be just a tad big but still worked great. Mommy and I would say that this is your size 5 in other diapers.

Now first upon opening the package mommy noticed that there was a wetness indicator. That is great especially for those parents who sometimes forget how long a diaper has been on. It's also great for those currently potty training like me as well. Another thing mommy noticed was that the inside of the Andy Pandy diapers was smooth as silk. Now that got mommy a bit worried. Did that mean that it will not soak in my pee like the other diapers would? Ok time to test this out.

Well I can tell you without a doubt that these worked perfectly. What a pleasant surprise. Mommy tried them out during the day and also at night. I went to sleep in them and woke up not thoroughly soaked but there was no leakage. Remember these were not my ideal size so mommy was a little worried that they might have leaked but there was no such thing. There was no gel like substance like one other diaper left on me and there was no odor either. Mommy and I have a winner!

Now another great thing about buying Andy Pandy Premium Bamboo Disposable Diapers is that with each purchase you support the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. One of mommy's charities so we are extremely proud of that. We also love the fact that they chose to use bamboo as their primary material helping to preserve our environment for both me and my future generation. Andy Pandy is very eco-friendly. Another great reason to buy!

Here are some facts about Andy Pandy Premium Disposable Diapers and mommy and I can attest that these are all true. We have never come across a diaper that we truly loved until we came across Andy Pandy. Without hesitation I have to give Andy Pandy Premium Bamboo Disposal Diapers my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!

  10. I have never heard of these before, but let me tell you - I am glad you brought them to our attention! I noticed that weird smell from popular brands a few years ago and everyone thought I was crazy. That smell grosses me out, and recently - my husband started commenting on how "gross" my daughters urine smelled. It's not HER, it's those diapers! Worst smell on the planet. Chemical-city. Not to mention that goopy-gross-gel stuff that comes out if she should happen to wiggle a little too rigorously!

The WORST diaper accident was a few weeks ago actually. My daughter had ... well, let's just say "a tummy bug" and her diaper caught NOTHING. It was almost like her diaper was waterproof and everything just slid out the sides and out the back and up the front.

  20. No I've never used these diapers. My kids worst accident was at a friends house while they were babysitting him. Took two of them to clean him up - in the tub.

  21. I have not used them. The worst diaper accident ever was right in the middle of rush hour traffic while visiting Atlanta. We finally found a place to pull off, and when we got inside, there was no changing table. Back to the car we went. When I went to pull out our only change of clothes, the diaper fell into the diaper bag. We had to then find a store to purchase NEW clothes. Sigh.

  37. No I have never tried this brand of diaper---I think we all have had diaper disaster experiences--the worse for me is while we were traveling on the freeway- accident just had to happen-- while she was sleeping it just came squishing out--not only all over the bottom part of the car seat, and clothing , and blankets, all down the front part of the back seat of the car on to the floor-- The smell would kill anyone, and the mess OMG!! I gagged with every moment cleaning it up. Never , Never again.

  51. I have never tried the bamboo diapers before, but would love to. My worst diaper experience was when my son was a newborn and managed to WIGGLE out of his diaper. (we ran out of newborn size and he was just a tad to small around the waist for the next size up) well he moved so much that the diaper ended up off him by the time he woke up. GROSS GROSS GROSS was all I could think in the morning, that and OMGosh im so sorry I let that happen!

  52. I haven't tried bamboo diapers before, but we've had a lot of horrifying diaper incidents (my husband calls them "poopsplosions") - up to the neck, down to the ankles... at least we know his digestive system is functioning just fine!
