Nenuco Sleep with Me Baby Doll & Cradle #Review #Giveaway

I’m a huge fan of dolls if you haven’t seen by now by just reading my posts. I have them in all races and sizes. There is nothing quite like owning a new doll either. I have to say though that owning so many dolls does have its advantage as well. I’m always changing them out. I recently received the Nenuco Sleep With Me Baby Doll and Cradle from Famosa and it was a hit from the very beginning.

This unique playset includes a cradle that can attach to a child’s bed so “baby” can sleep close and safe all night long. Includes a star nightlight with music, blanket, bottle and pacifier. The cradle can also be used alone for cat naps throughout the day. Enjoy two ways to play — standalone cradle or attached to a bed. Kids will surely have sweet dreams with a “baby” nearby.

$29.99 – Recommended age: 3y+

The doll comes in a box suitable for gift wrapping and removing it from the package was very easy. There were parts to put together but nothing required a tool. Everything was snapped together and took less than 5 minutes to set up. It does require 2AAA batteries because it comes with a night light attached to the cradle. Unfortunately for me mommy didn’t have any AAA batteries available. We have lots of AA but none of the others. Mommy plans on buying some so we can try out the night light.

My doll is approximately 16.5″ tall and that’s a great height if you ask me. Perfect for tiny hands to hold. There are no small parts to worry about on this either. And while they say that this is recommended for ages 3+, I’m not even 2 yet and I play with it fine enough. The doll comes with a pacifier and a bottle and I had lots of fun trying to feed my new doll. I even decided to put her to bed just like mommy does with me.

Now at only $29.99 this is a great deal. You not only get a doll but you also get the cradle and accessories. Not many dolls give you that, at least not at this price.

Famosa’s equally popular brand of affordable and adorable Nenuco baby dolls allows children as young as 2 to repeat daily parenting routines for babies like eating, bathing and dressing. With these realistic looking dolls, children learn to be responsible, taking care of their baby indoors or outside for a stroll in the park. At the same time children develop through play their capacity for communication. And it’s not just for girls. The company points out at www.NenucoFamosa.com, “although it can still be perceived as a ‘girls’ toy, in practice boys and girls share playing with dolls while playing house and overcoming old sexist roles.” The educational value of doll playing is recommended for all youngsters.

As preschoolers anticipate the arrival of a new baby or if there’s already one in the home, the Sleep With Me 16.5″ doll with a cradle will mimic mom’s and dad’s new sleeping pattern.
