Keep Your Face Clean With NeatCheeks #Review

Disclaimer:  I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.
I was not paid in any way to write this review.
All opinions are my own.

I'm not a big fan of getting my face cleaned. Yes I like a clean face but I hate getting it done. Mostly because the wipes don't taste good and they usually don't smell good either. I am still at that age where everything that gets near my face gets tongue tasted and nose sniffed. Yeah I like to stick my tongue out! Not because my tongue needs to get clean but because I want to taste whatever is going near my face. Introducing NeatCheeks! Finally someone got the message and decided to come up with a solution for us little ones. The tongue tasters as I like to call us.

NeatCheeks were designed to have a pleasant flavor imparted into the wipe.  This means that when the wipe is brushed across your child’s lips, and they taste the sweet flavor, they will be enticed to sit still and enjoy the face wipe experience.

I was sent five packages of NeatCheeks. NeatCheeks is currently not available on the market as yet so I was honored to try them. Now let me tell you all about my experience with NeatCheeks. I'm usually a clean eater. Well I try to be but it's not always possible. Do you know of a one year old who can eat yogurt without getting their face dirty? I would have been able to say me but then I would be lying. Mommy says lying isn't nice so we don't lie. I guess when mommy tells my big sister she looks nice in her ugly dress that's not lying. Mommy says its called slightly stretching the truth to not hurt someone's feelings. Well I won't be stretching the truth. My readers like to know the truth. Don't you?

Mommy and I both tested out NeatCheeks and you can bet an opportunity arose really soon indeed. There's always an opportunity to clean my face. As I mentioned before I hate getting my face cleaned but sometimes I don't mind if I'm doing it myself. NeatCheeks came in a cute little tin foil packet that is really easy to open. No you don't need scissors. NeatCheeks come neatly folded and all you have to do is unfold it and get ready to wipe.

The first thing I did when I got it was smell it. Yes I have to do the sniff test. After all it's not going near my face if it doesn't smell good. If it doesn't smell good then I won't be using it either, at least not without a fight. I really have to say that it does smell good, I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't have a strong over powering perfume scent but more of a light fragrance. Mommy tried figuring out what it smelled like but she couldn't put her finger on it. That's her words but she says that it smelled good too.

After the sniff test came the taste test. Things can smell good but not taste good. This was truly the test. After all NeatCheeks says that it will taste good. Did it? It sure did! Once again mommy tasted it as well and mommy can tell you that it doesn't have any nasty after taste. I hate things that taste great but leaves a nasty after taste in your mouth.

Do you know what happened after it passed all my tests? I used it! Yes I used it everywhere on my face. Only my mouth was dirty but I figured that my entire face needed to be cleaned and I had fun cleaning it.  I then wiped my hands and I even wanted to eat it but mommy said that I shouldn't. You may want to watch your little ones because they may want to eat it as well. There is nothing unsafe in there but still they aren't edible. Well you're probably wondering as well if I broke out from wiping it on my face. I have very sensitive skin as most of my readers know but I was fine. No breakouts which is great!

For the skeptics who are probably wondering about the ingredients, NeatCheeks has them listed on the website but mommy and I will quote them here for you to show you that you have nothing to worry about.

  2. That's a really good idea! I know from seeing my sister wipe her son's face off that he hates it, so this would make it a little easier for him to tolerate I think. Glad they worked out for you :)

  4. What a great idea, my little girl cleans her face every night with me. We use these green tea or cucumber wipes that also work really great. But I love that these are made especially for kids. I'll have to try them.

  6. I like that there is aloe in this, and stevia. I had no idea stevia was moisturizing. I use it as a sweetner in my foods and beverages. It is very, healthy. All good things in these Neat Cheeks.

  11. Now those sound like a "must have" product! I know I will try them when they are on the market. I have 3 younger grandchildren that need those every now and again. I really like the concept of them tasting good. Let's face it most of those wipe products taste awful.
